People are giving Sony kudos just for doing the bare minimum now? You are supposed to have your product replaced if it's defective.
And where is the proof of 1%? Even if true, doesn't it directly contradict the 0.4% figure Sony/people have been spreading around? So Sony admitted they are lying?

The proof is the fact that it's stated in the OP by a SONY representitive. Whether you believe that percentage or not is up to you but it doesn't get more official than that. Also, that does not contradict anything. SONY previously stated 0.4% 2+ days ago. They would have more data and more reports of defective units at the time of this statement. Seeing as they haven't shipped more units, of course estimates will go up... not down.
You seem very eager to find an issue here.

The actual quote says "less than 1%" which .4% certainly falls within so as of yet you can't call Sony liars for this particular statement.

That's one thing, the second is that the former statement was made like when? 15th or 16th Nov. So a couple of days passed, the number could change. Fallens post is either ignorant or cynical and trolling.
