I will tell you something little man: Wii U will be the leader of the 8th gen sales wise with a lot more than your estimate of 30 millions sold.
More than 50 easily.

The leader at 50 million? That gen on gen decline.

I said more than 50 easily. But yes, i do believe it´s going to be a poor generation.

I think Wii U could do 60+ million at best, but no less than 30 million. The thing is, I don't understand the reason Wii U isn''t selling. Free online, quality titles, actual innovation, backwards compatible, and nothing behind a paywall! Yes, there's not good third party support, but what happened to the +30 million people who bought MarioKart Wii, or +10 million people who bought SSBB/ SMG?

It has quality titles that no one cares about... Pikmen 3, Wonderful 101, WWHD and the rest aren't system sellers even though they are really good games... Heck, you can say Super Mario Bros U sold 2 million wiiU consoles alone WWHD is a remake and most people already played the original... 2014 as well as this holiday will pretty much determine where the console is going

Well saying you don't understand why the system isn't selling probably makes your estimates fairly off base.

The system is trending considerably below the GameCube right now which fizzled at around 22 million.

It NEEDS Mario + Mario Kart just to sell at GameCube levels I think. Right now it's way below -- case in point, October 2013 NPD for Wii U is 50k-60k (lets be nice and say it was on the highest end, so 59k). The GameCube sold 168k it's second October by comparision, that's more than double.

Wii U will sell 25-30 max.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

I really see the 3DS making it to 80 million.

Considering the impact of Apple and Android in the portable gaming market the sales for the 3DS are amazing. I remember many people predicted the premature death of the console in its first year, just like they are now with Wii U. Sony are learning the hard way about how competitive the hand held market is, and remember when a few years ago rumors were abound that Microsoft were about to enter the hand held market? That just isn't an option for them nowadays.
I am still optimistic about the future of Wii U, but ONLY if they perform well over this holiday season. If the Wii U sits around the 5 million mark in early 2014 Nintendo will have a hard time attracting 3rd party support, which they desperately need.

I care about Pikmin =(

But Nintendo has had the worst luck! They released Mario and Sonic twice on Wii, sells amazing. Release it on Wii U FAIL. Wii Party U FAIL. Wii Fit U FAIL. But in Wii they all suceeded. It's just weird to me, the casuals buy the same game twice, why not a third tme?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Yes, but by that date, the Gamecube already had a Super Smash Bros (released at launch) and a 3D Mario (Mario Sunshine, July of 2002).  So that comparisson is bullshit.
