DC is pretty, but Uncharted 4 is the best. I know I play on PC but there is nothing nothing that looks like Uncharted 4, yes pc gamers have 4k res now but they just don't look like UC 4 or DC.

It can contribute to graphics but overall there are other factors that weigh in more heavily such as lighting model, shading model, and textures. A bidirectional path traced game with a bidirectional scattering distribution function model will do a much better job of matching the cornell box in real life than a near perfect physics engine. There's only so much that physics can contribute to graphics ... |
It's down to a difference of opinion then. To me, the physics were one of the main things that make modded Crysis the most photorealistic game I've seen to date.
What the person above me proves, it that he has done an outstanding job to find a screenshot of the best case scenario screenshot for Horizon 2 (sunset better looking car) and the worst case scenario screenshot for Driveclub. (Nothing special happening at the moment and a damaged not special looking car)
The screenshot from driveclub is obviously from the beta, whereas the TGS Alphabuild has been confirmed by journalists to look and play better.
(http://www.pu.nl/media/video/pu-tv/tgs-dag-1-tokyo-baklap-time/ (for the dutch speaking) The power unlimited is the benelux biggest game magazine and can be seen as a reliable source) This a GIF from the alphabuild from the Japanese version of driveclub source dualshockers.com

So now explain my in which way does driveclub looks at is best less impressive than Forza Horizon it's best.
(I still think Horizon does look beautiful, but it is not as stunning as driveclub neither could it be unless evolution studio's fucked up big time. Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
@ Qwark
sorry to disappoint you, but games should be judged by their direct-food appearance of released versions. The only driveclub build which was released was the beta and the beta looked exactly like the screens i posted. in the case of FH2 it was the demo.
Also you confirmed the downgrading by saying TGS alpha build looked (and played) better than the beta. For your information, Alpha comes before Beta. If Beta looks worse than Alpha, then it was downgraded. Saying that, i doubt that the TGS build was the alpha. most likely it was a showcasing version of the wip game.
remember watch dogs? what was advertised and what was given?
remember forza 5?
even GTA5?
you can most likely add driveclub to the list.

There is still photomode though, where you will be able to capture some super realistic pics.
The inevitable and erroneous downgrade talk.
Its between DC and TO: 1886, both PS4 exclusives.
@Kreshni
Just one problem here, given the fact that driveclub already has gone gold during the TGS, why wouldn't they use the alpha/retail version. The Beta is an older unoptimised version of the game. If you think the early driveclub footage was running on a ps4, well I am sorry to dissapoint you, it was running on a PC. But the most probable scenario is that the TGS had a far more advanced alpha (probably retail version) which has been optimized for the PS4 and looks better than the Beta which is simply a fast port from a devpc to a PS4.
Point is driveclub will look better than it's beta especially Norway and Canada look stunning. Canada was the retail version gif in my previous post. (The developer itself declared that this Gif is coming from the Japanese retail version) Although I've no doubt that location's as India simply aren't looking that stunning. But on the other hand let's not start a shitfight since we will find out in 10 days. You think the game will not look better than it's Beta, I think it will.
(Source that this gif is according to the developer indeed from the retail version.)
Damage looks crap though, and I am sure that aspect was already final in the Beta
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
Comparing a FPS vs a Racing simulator makes no sense.
