sorry to disappoint you, but games should be judged by their direct-food appearance of released versions. The only driveclub build which was released was the beta and the beta looked exactly like the screens i posted. in the case of FH2 it was the demo.
Also you confirmed the downgrading by saying TGS alpha build looked (and played) better than the beta. For your information, Alpha comes before Beta. If Beta looks worse than Alpha, then it was downgraded. Saying that, i doubt that the TGS build was the alpha. most likely it was a showcasing version of the wip game.
remember watch dogs? what was advertised and what was given?
remember forza 5?
even GTA5?
you can most likely add driveclub to the list.
There is still photomode though, where you will be able to capture some super realistic pics.
