Knack is a very solid game, a 7/10 in my book. Reviewers giving it 3/10 are insane (or more propably they took money from microsoft like polygon).

I am assuming that last bit was just ironic since that is so silly it´s laughable. Could you just focus on the issue in this thread instead of trying to downplay MS first chance you get?

Polygon is sponsored by Microsoft. Thats awhy they are giving Sony exclusives a very low scores. Like 7.5/10 for the Last of Us or 6 for Ni no Kumi.

Or sometimes a reviewer gives a game a lower score because, I don´t know, it´s their personal taste? MS doesn´t care if a reviewer gives a competitors games a high or low score. This mentality from some gamers that, just because their game gets a low score they are some kind of victim in a terrible plot against them, is just so silly. Play the games and don´t care if a reviewer doesn´t share your taste in the game. I can promise you, they are not payed of to too downgrade it :).

Most reviewers have video reviews now a day .... go watch and listen to IGN's or Gamestop review.

You'll see why the game failed to live up to it's potential.

Yeah I really enjoyed it. The character designs are amazing, the art style is amazing, the gameplay is amazing. Only big negative is some funky camera. Very solid game in my opinion.

Microsoft gave polygon $750,000 to startup.
That's all you need to know.

welcome to gaming. But why people can't understand that Nintendo games are based around what you described?

The difference is that Nintendo is the best on that and the games are more complex.

Why is it that you can never post in a thread without changing the topic to Nintendo?

OT: Who cares what the critics say? All that matters is your own enjoyment of the game. If you're having fun then that's all that matters.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I have played about 5 hours of knack so far and I am just stunned at reviewers. Why is a game that is fun, simple, and relaxing so bad? The story is easy to follow, and has no need to be picked apart. This is just a game you can kick back, and not think to hard about. It is a nice break from the typical throw as many options and hectic action as possible at the player formula.

Why do game journalists score a game like this so bad? From what I have seen it does everything it sets out to do well. Sure its not elite, but what could they have done to score better in this type of game? Adding more would take away the simplisity that makes this game what it is. I hear so much about gameplay, and a game comes out that gives the player a simple fun system gets torn apart.

Not much else to say. I am having a good time playing this game, and that is what matters. Personally I would rather play this than LBP, but I guess my idea of fun is much different than the general consensus.

Also it's nothing to do with "this type of game." Lego Marvel has an 82 on metacritic.

I believe thats more downplaying Polygon than Microsoft

You can say '... is just fun, simple, and relaxing' for many small, mediocre and even shovelware games. 60 usd games have to deliver more in order to get praised.
