Gaming events mostly are not that big of deal/ except E3 that is and SOMETIMES TGS.

It was an hour launch event.........Seriously. I'm surprised they even announced any game at all.

Yes i need a ps4!!! Seriously it looked so good! Instead of waiting 2 years (around that time) to picka ps4 up i might get one maybe holiday next year. WiiU+PS4 for the best 1st party and 3rd party games this gen for me. I might pick up a vita tv too to play some GR!!

Are pep rallies built up and streamed over the internet and tv? Are they also an hour event?

I'm not really whining just stating the event was weak.

If I was whining I would point out the PS4 launch lineup.

Yes. Yes. Some rallies can even span an entire weekend

I never saw a launch event with so much announcements... so it was pretty good.

An hour event on a TV show. That already sets off alarms. Just watch Craig Ferguson, Dave Letterman, Conan O'Brian, Jimmy Kimmel or a plethora of other talk show hosts to see what these types of things go. Introduce one "celeb" have them sit down and talk to them about their next project. Show a clip of the project and go to commercial. Come back from commercial and introduce the next person.

It really was expected

If you're disappointed then its your own fault for hyping yourself up so much for some HUGE announcement. Everyone already knew a new Uncharted was coming so what were you expecting? For it to be a surprise launch title?

Not really. The February event was all good and great, E3 was mediocre, gamescom dog shit, Tokyo Game was decent for a different demographic, Ps4 launch event terrible. You throw enough darts at a board you'll eventually get a bullseye figured this was gonna be the occasion Sony shows a few of its "many" first party IP's. Also rumors and speculation never help.
