Well, if I take away the shue $20 bet, the shuebanderas, and the ND announcements, I am left with.. advertisment, a Kojjima troll, advertisment and the rest i've already forgotten except hundreds of advertisment breaks. Was definitely not really worth staying up all night (fortunately I had other things going on, else I'd want my lost 1 hour back).

I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh, but I'm more than a bit amused that people had high expectations for a launch show like this. What were people thinking, that everyone at Sony was like, "oh, forget the VGAs and all the big conventions, let's show off a bunch of stuff while a good portion of our primary demographic is waiting in line!" I didn't even watch it, I just went to bed. Still, people getting puffy about this is good for a chuckle.

Was playing dota 2, watched for like 10mins then closed it down. Sony hyped it up and didn't deliver.

This is called post-launch effect, when you realize that all that you expect for the console to be on the launch day, only will come in a good 2-3 years. some realize this launch day, anothers realize 1 month later. Don't worry man, you will get trough it.

Sometimes I really don't understand why some people get PlayStation consoles or are fans of PlayStation, although you're not one so maybe the OP is understandable.

Sony announces their arguably biggest IP at the moment during this event, "meh event", "so dissapointing", "more crap announced".

Microsoft announces 7th Halo game since 2001 or something, MS fans are all in heaven, pumped, etc.

Nintendo announces the same games for 30 years now, Nintendo fans can't wait for every single new iteration.
Ask Sony "fans", how many of them want a next God of War game another big Sony IP, going by threads maybe 30%, rest says, no it's too much, Ascension was not needed already, franchise got stale, I hate Kratos, etc.

And where all you smart asses were in the "what game will ND do next" threads we had here? Cause now I see that another Uncharted game was so obvious, in those threads 50% of the people was guessing a new IP, or were unsure.

I for one am stoked. Uncharted is one of my favourite franchises of all time, I could get a new game every year and would more than happy. A confirmation, only the name of this game at the endof that teaser is enough for me to scream like a teenage girl. Damn besides that, ND had a new game announcement, when I heard it I was already freaking excited!

Was that Microsofts only title that they announced at E3?

It was good to see Uncharted and it's safe to say it was much expected thankfully so. Was just hoping they would of perhaps showed another high quality/AAA/AA game or two after that underwhelming E3. Aside from indie titles and more of the same.
