You can never be disappointed when Naughty Dog announces a new game. Other than that.....yes....it was disappointing.

I'm still waiting for Bioshock Vita :p

I'm a huge DC fan and you should be ashamed, you missed Toy Commander!

However in Japan (the first launch) it actually shipped with just Virtua Fighter 3TB, Pen Pen, Sega Rally 2 and Godzilla. So PS4 nukes it.

HAHAHAHA. I didn't stay up late enough (worked early) to watch it but I'm glad I didn't after reading this morning.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

At this point I wonder who is the biggest troll.

Kojima or Molyneux.

It was pretty bad IMO. The way they were hyping it seemed like they were gonna announce several games.

These are not the exact words "Stay stuned for tonight on spike for exclusive world premieres and tons of exclusive games"

I saw/read that in several places.....where were they? just uncharted? that only showed a map?

Sony fanboys jizz with just the word "uncharted" it can be an uncharted chess game and they would still jizz.

Having not got into Uncharted 3. "a new Uncharted" that isn't for Vita excites me about as much as finding out I have an STD...

Sony announces their arguably biggest IP at the moment during this event, "meh event", "so dissapointing", "more crap announced".

Microsoft announces 7th Halo game since 2001 or something, MS fans are all in heaven, pumped, etc.

Nintendo announces the same games for 30 years now, Nintendo fans can't wait for every single new iteration.

Maybe that's because NIntendo doesn't milk their franchises (Franchises, not characters) to the extreme like CoD and Assassins Creed, were it reaches a staleness point and becomes boring,

That's why most of the Nintendo games feel like magic all over again. I'd say the most stale franchises from Nintendo are Mario Kart and Smash Bros, but those come out once in a generation and are always smash hits. If Sony or Microsoft could have a multi generation long lasting IP like that, believe me, they wouldn't drop it. But instead they have to come up with different worlds and franchises so everything feels new.

Was that Microsofts only title that they announced at E3?

Keep hearing the same tune "wait for E3 Sony will shock you! Oops Sony didn't want to play it's full hand wait for Gamescom!

Oh No! Sony was saving the good stuff for Tokyo Gameshow. Alright Sony is gonna unleash the beast at it's PS4 launch event". Well now it's "Wait for the VGA's"

It was good to see Uncharted and it's safe to say it was much expected thankfully so. Was just hoping they would of perhaps showed another high quality/AAA/AA game or two after that underwhelming E3. Aside from indie titles and more of the same.

I wasn't refering to MS E3 with Halo, but to the fact that suprisingly a lot of Playstation owners don't care much about Sony biggest exclusives, which is quite mind blowing for me, when Xbox has 90% of the same library and exclusives, so why not go there.

I haven't watched MS E3 so I don't know how many exclusives they have annouced, but you can tell me. I know though that besides the launch event and E3, MS had what? Fable Legends announcement during Gamescom behind closed doors meeting thing?

For me Sony exactly unleashed or rather teased the beast at this event. Uncharted, the main reason why I stick to PlayStation. That's why I loved this launch event.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

People forget Nintendo franchises have history. So yeah... it may be Mario Kart 8 next year, but the first one was over 20 years ago!

Since 2007 there have been 6 main Assassin's Creed games (7 including liberation) and since 2003 there have been 10 main Call of Duty games. (11 counting the Vita release). More if you include the DS spin offs.

As for the second paragraph I can't say much, since I'm not interested in any Nintendo franchise, so they have no magic for me. All I see is, another 3D Mario, 2D Mario, Mario Party, Mario Kart, Smash Bros. Zelda differs from iteration to iteration significantly I guess.

Yeah well, call me when Sony of MS have yearly franchises like those other than sport in form of MLB The Show but that's natural, the closest are Ratchet and Clank which was milked and experimented on by Insomniac, to death. And Halo which even though had 7 iterations plus Wars is still quite exciting for the fans.
