That 3DS tracking is quite brilliant.

The desperation Nintendo is showing with regards to its home console is alarming. 3DS doing good, Pokemon overtracked by around a million, but if we add all of the Americas that may go down to 800k or so. |
Perhaps we're looking at sub-100k hardware sales for Wii U I think.

That 1.7 million for Pokémon includes digital so we most likely have it overtracked by over one million. |
Good point, yeah, more than a million for sure now, digital sales from the rest of the regions will not be as big as physical

Bets with Conegamer:
Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

LOL, yeah take that 8 year old 360 and 7 year old PS3! And Vita (lol).
The competetion is really weak for the time being.
Whats the haps, chaps?
Kudos on the 3DS tracking. That's a more than acceptable margin of error.
Less acceptable on Pokemon. Man, that's some insanely heavy overtracking. Especially considering we actually got the hardware right this month!
No niche releases for me to get behind for October that I can think of. Boo.
Looks like Pokemon is way overtracked on vgchartz for the US - by close to 1M.
Where's Wii Party U on the October new release list?

I am sure Nintendo would have mentionned it in their PR if the wiiU was up over last month. Even if it were by only 10k.
Predictions for LT console sales:
PS4: 120M
XB1: 70M
WiiU: 14M
3DS: 60M
Vita: 13M

Does it? I don't think they're talking about shipment numbers. "Pokémon X and Pokémon Y were the No. 1 and No. 2 top-selling titles last month, with more than 1.7 million units combined..." The first statement suggests to me that they're using NPD's numbers, not Nintendo's own internal shipment + digital records.
