Name a game on ps4 that has that many enemises on screen, that draw distance and no loading screens holding a steady frame rate and no screen tearing?. Come back to me if you can find any. That alone is pretty impressive for a next gen console.

I can find one in PS3... in Sly Cooper Thieves in Time when you are hacking with bentley or Super Stardust HD (and it is 1080p 60fps)

I was talking aboutresolution here. its easy to achieve if the area if you get to play with its small an dlimited. I was talking about the sheer scale that D3 offers. As you know ita huge open world , with thosuands of zombies and you can transverse from area to another without having to wait for the screen to load, and its a steady 30fps and with no screen tearing. Theres no game to date that has this. Therefore i am happy with teh resoution as what you get in return is much better . I rather have a steady game with technical stuff then slightly highe r resolution and unstable frame rate

Well, because it doesn't exist isn't an indication it can't be done. The good news of this means that one got to it first, but this can become the norm for these types of games next gen.

You are right on that . i stated it purely because peopel here and other game sites hav ebeen sayin g xbox one is super weak harder fro not being able to 1080p for games especailly this. Most gamers these seem to forget that this game omore then jsut resolution. The sheer scale of the open world game and whta it does from a technical point is pretty impressive.  This was to prove that xbox one is not a weak hardware if it able to achieve all of that with no loadign time and no screen tearign in an open. Any game that big woul dtake a resolution hit ot maintain a steady frame rate unless you  hav e a godlike pc like your one  :D. Heck ps4 would have a bit trouble if it can't keep  COD at a steady 60fps on teh machine and that game is very linear.

Still look like fun to me.

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

@joe the bro -- congrats for your research skill. Heres your first class PHD lol. You just fullfilled on aspect which was tonnes on enemies. Heavenly sword is not an open worl ,, just have huge raw distance and still Dead rising has tonnes of enemies. Plus i ask for a ps4 game as peopel are dissing the xbox one power. Since you haven't found one yet ,, you admitted defeat :P

To define what you want and then declare win ia easy... Show me a Xbox game with 1197 cars on it...So PS3 is next-next-next gen since Forza 5 have just  around 200-300 cars.

Haven't you heard of quality trumps quantity? I rathe rhave around 200-300 unique cars with gorgeous graphics then have few unique ones but with each unique ones,, you have hundreds of variations. One that comes to midn is teh huge amoutn of skyline variations.  Let see GT series produce 1197 complete different car an dcar models. Till tha tis done then i call it impressive since GT5 had 200 premium look while the rest of the 800ish of cars look liek upsclaed ps2 models. Lets see jpw many cars will there be for GT 7

I'm sorry, but can you highlight the spot in your post saying it had to be open world?

Out of all the resolutiongate games, this is the worst offender.

COD and B4 are also 720p, but they're at 60fps.

Killer Instinct is exclusive and 720p but again it's still 60fps.

Ryse is exclusive and 30fps, but it's 900p and at least looks pretty great.

DR3 is exclusive yet it has the worst frame rate and resolution out of all the launch games, and relatively doesn't even look that good. What the heck happened?

Dead Rising is an open world game doing far more than any of the aforementioned titles, that's what. It is also a laucnh title on a system that needs a little getting used to.

Frankly, I don't see what's bugging people about it, so much.

Its easy to have a shit ton of enemies on screen when the AI is almost non existant.

And Dead Rising 1 back in 2006 also had a lot of enemies on screen, so correct me if im wrong, but wasn't DR1 also 30fps 720p? Now there's a new, more powerful console and are still stuck in the last gen.

Dont get me wrong, DR3 probably will be an excellent game, but its not technically impressive in any way

Am I the only one that suspects this is Capcom's "fault," rather than the One's?

LPDDR3 running at 800mhz will net you a bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s. I'm sorry but I don't see the ram catching up anytime soon and that especially goes for the PS4.

That last line is true.

LPDDR4 is on it's way. :)
They could also increase the bus bit width and clockspeeds.
And, Tablet/Phone GPU's are actually rather bandwidth efficient, well. More out of need that is, plus you generally don't need to do 1080P 60fps on a tiny 4.5" screen so that helps, 720P or lower with upscaling and 30fps on a 4.5" screen looks far better than having that same resolution stretched over 30-80" of screen real estate for instance.

LPDDR4 will just double the speed as per usual. So 25.6 GB/s at 800mhz ain't impressive at all. You are right about mobile devices not needing much bandwidth but at the sametime they are not meant for performance critical applications such as games. I agree that these devices don't need a higher resolution because of their higher pixel densities. In any case for very mobile devices like the tablet for them to compete against home devices like consoles they need a much better GPU but their pretty much power constained and their memory needs to significantly improve and increasing the bus width is the way to go.

Nobody will notice the difference.
