Im thought GC was sold at a loss at launch and after they cut the price to $99.

3DS is doing very well, although less than DS used to do. Wii U had a nicely small drop after Pokemon launch (oops, after Zelda launch, mixed up 3DS and Wii U boosts  ) week, this bodes well for Xmas, and it could mark the end of troubles for Wii U, despite not making expect a huge success like Wii.
But even the best sales couldn't confute the G0ld3n and Ub3r1337 L4w of NintenD0m3, so yes, Ninty is d0m3d, as always.

Why would you start to believe them now of all times?

Just because the Wii U isn't doing so good?

Wii and Wii U sales combined are afterall still higher than 360 sales, and 3DS is outselling everything else combined.

Just because some of the smart phone makers are doing better doesn't mean Nintendo is doomed.

If the wii u was selling less now than it was in June I would considered it doomed. The fact that it is selling 200% better without any major games indicates differently.

Many will point to a price cut but even here I have my doubts regarding how much that helped considering the wii u was being sold well below the RRP because it was doing so badly. In the UK a black wii u was £250.00 on Amazon in June. After the price cut it is currently £245. I got my deluxe for £199 brand new and could have got another from Asda for the same price.

As more people come to accept that the wii u is not the wii with a tablet, that it is superior to current gen and not as distant to the next-gen as the wii was (more so if it does 1080@60 on games like bayonetta 2) it will sell well. It's not going to set the world alight but should return Nintendo to the black.

Oh yeah, if they released quality games more consistently it would help.

I blame shitty parents that give their 2 year olds tablets and phones. They should be charged with abuse.

Wii U is not doomed. It`s still suffering the effects from lack of games and brand awareness.
Actually, it`s biggest problema now seems to be lack of brand awareness. Don`t know how long it`s going to last but it`s nothing that can`t be fixed.

The drought Wii U went through this seems to be coming to an end.
And it the games keep coming next year, that`s one problema solved!

Look, they survived the GameCube... So. lol.

Also, 3DS is beginning to thrive. It's just now starting to hit it's peak.
