It was shunned so we will never know. 20 17.70%

I agree with the OP.

@oniyide

The problem with the Move is that it works in every game by replacing a classic function with motion.
you can use WiiMpte Plus on all those tons of Wii games you mentioned.

If you want more accurency then WiiMote Plus, then just buy something with 6-Axis Motion Sensors, like the Wii U (because the GamePad has 6-Axis sensors as do the PS Move as well).

It's because 9 out of 10 times they suck.

Why in the world would anyone want to replace a button with waggle?

The problem with the WiiMote & PS Move, is that they have issues, because none of them have Geomagnetic Sensors, but the Wii U takes care of that by haunt a Geomagnetic Sensor to work with the Motion Controls.

So the Wii U makes the PS Move/WiiMote obsolete with its way more better motion controller known as GamePad. So say goodbye to the issues the WiiMote & PS Move have.

@Joe

You havenever played a game that's a shooter nor fps game with WiiMote Plus, huh?

Are you sure?

I'd hope not, because the move does have Geomagnetic Sensors.

Are gamers afraid of change?

Some gamers are, but I don't think that is the problem.

The problem is that publishers are absolutely piss-their-pants terrified of change.  It is all about being safe these days.

man so much just plan wrong, First off the motion controls for Wii sucked, period. It was evident since WiiSports. on rails tennis, a boxing game that was inaccurate as hell. THe controls were limited. What genres do hardcore gamers play that could really benefit from motion controls? lets get real. Better yet what games coudl have benefitted from the Wiimote? limited as it was. ALl i can think is FPSs and the ones that Wii did get were mediocore on average.

As for Move dont know where you been at. Infamous2, FoB, Killzone3, Resistance3, LBP2, Spiderman, Bioshock, that Dawn game, Datura, hot shots golf, goldeneye, child of eden, portal2, sorcery, the fight, time crisis, housed of the dead, socom, ghost recon. thats just what comes to mind.

Red Steel 2 and Zelda Skyward Sword are the great examples I could think of, your overall point stands though...heavy use of motion controlls was usually pretty bad (I would have loved to play Bully on the Wii :(

Zelda is the best motion controlled game to this day imo.

Someone hasn't heard of Skyward Sword.

Most gamers, and devs, are lazy and frightened of change.,
