Day one for both for me. Online play has me sold. I can now almost retire my original Wii Sports disc.

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

Shigeru Miyamoto

i will buy tenis day 1.

but i wish there was a retail copy with all sports from wii sports and resort, also a wii U bundle with them, it sold 100 mil wiis, and would sell some wii Us too.

Can someome take 5 minutes of their time to explain this? Ive been off, and im planning to get a Wii U this month

It's basically a remaster of the original Wii Sports minigames, but as separate digital releases on the Wii U eShop.

The controls have been tweaked & improved, and the also added online matchmaking so you can play with people worldwide.

How much will it be? Nomore than $30 I hope

Each sport is a $10 download I believe. They aren't all getting released at once, just Bowling & Tennis at first on November 7th/8th

Mmmm $10 is not that bad I guess, and Bowling andTennis are the best sports inthe game. Might get it with the console then.

thanks

the baseball will have a noticeable difference. it will be like the E3 2011 video: the player uses the gamepad to aim the throw and the other player uses the wii mote+ to try and hit it. the golf will also have that thing about putting the gamepad on the floor. I don't know about boxing but it would be cool if they had dual wiimote+ option for perfect 1:1 controls.

I had already thought of somthing like that. It would be a good way to have boxing running well. But offline versus would demand four wiimotes.

Thanks for the info. I don't wanna get the basic version though, since it has been discontinued.

I've been looking at gameplay videos lately. Is it just me, but doesn't Wii sports Club feel more like a true sequel to Wii Sports? It doesn't feel like a simple HD revision at all imo.

I think it comes out next week for NA, so I'll check it out then. Definitely need my tennis fix!

I don't give a damn, I'd pay $50 for boxing alone if they were to do that, then rush out and buy two more Wiimotes. I'm convinced I'm the only guy on Earth who gets boxing on Wii, but if they replaced the nunchuk with another WM+, the rest of you have no more excuses.

Wait so they are now charging for the game almost everyone already got for free? I assume most Wii U owners already have a Wii and probably Wii Sports so why is this necessary? I thought they would add new unique sports in addition to the old ones.
