I would say I'd miss him... but I'm going to still follow his Jimquisition show, so I'll have my fill.

Dtoid is going to be a bit poorer without him.

My friend is a Vtuber, check him out.

He was the best part of the site. A shame, but he left us with that Batman review I guess.

There is still one review left: CoD: Ghosts

9.5

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

speaking of 9.5 i love this tweet from him

Nooo...! He's honestly one of my favorites in the reviewing industry, and my only real reason for visiting that site. His article on why Mario Galaxy ruined the Wii for him is literally the whole reason I started digging around gaming websites for fun articles. I'll definitely still follow him, but it's sad to see him leave Destructoid, all the same.

Hmm

I hope whoever reviews Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns and Assassin's Creed IV at Destructoid gives them both a 10.

I love him so much, his british accent is so charming to listen to...ugh....

I don´t know what happened to him, he tweeted about not leaving DToid "unless they would kick him out" a few days ago...

...oh God, and what will happen to Podtoid ?

....:(

Big gaming website + guy who picks the gamers' side instead of the industry's = conflict of interest.

Simple equation.

Yeah....that might be the case.

I disagreed with many of his scores (A 10 for Kirby: Return to dreamland? A 5/10 for Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus: Uprising)....

...but he always had this aura of....I don´t know....honesty (? )around him that made his pieces entertaining to read.

In a world where game reviewers complain about too much text and not enough gameplay in a visual novel (the fucking IGN-Ace Attorney5 review), where reviewers can´t be arsed to learn how the controlls of a game work and instead describe them as broken (Skyward Sword´s Gamespot review, almost all Wonderful 101 reviews)...he was a breath of fresh air

....but, as you implied: Gaming journalism is nothing more than paid off glorified advertisment, most journalists aren´t particularly interested in taking the consumer´s side in the debate (The ammount of downplaying around some periods of the pre180 XBone was shocking)...
