Makes perfect sense. They want the WiiU to sell so they need to give it exclusive stuff you can't get anywhere else. It's the same reason the Vita is doing terribly: all the best games and features on the system can also be bought on the PS3 and PS4. The Vita itself is fantastic, but nobody cares because you can get everything on it on other consoles.

But while trying to sell us a WiiU, Nintendo is ignoring the 3DS.

C'mon! Mario Maker is not a system seller, it's not a game the WiiU needs and yet if they had it for the 3DS the console would have a better lineup for Xmas.
