So, Wii U sales increased roughly 500%, while the PS4 only increased by about 60% and the One by 25%.

I wonder what this means for the sales of Watch Dogs. Did they sell more heavily to existing console owners than MK8 did? Is MK8 the true system seller, despite selling only 30% as much?

It couldn't beat the PS4 but those are some fine numbers. Mario Kart is a true system seller.

Percentages are always misleading in these cases. All we can say, is that both did extremely well.

Just did my math. It's an increase of 450%. That means:
34000 (last week numbers) + 153000 (the 450% that increased for last week)= 187000, which is 552% of last week numbers (what officerRaichu got)
With that said, should I study economics :D

3DS news of 04/06/2014: And here it is!

  • Media Create: Mario Kart 8 comes at the top with over 325k units! At #3 comes Yokai Watch with 37k units, PRO EVO Soccer with 12k, and then Mario Party with 6k. The 3DS sold 24k units, and the Wii U (with an increase of over 100%) 19k units! Yeah, it could've been better (I was expecting over 20k at least), but Japan is a dying market for traditional gaming, and Wii U appears to sell good over time.
  • A new Miiverse update, and the Nintendo@E3 2014 community is up!
  • Footage of Persona Q: SOTL (over 72 minutes to be exact!)
  • And the new Harvest Moon is pretty much coming World Wide!
