Yeah i wasn't trying to be pro PC or anything just that with all this old stuff i have i been 1080p gaming Skyrim cranked for 2 years.
I actually plan on upgrading the processor to a 3.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo then Overclocking it for like 40 bucks and then upgrade my graphics card for 70 so i'll be good for the next couple years, even thought i really have no need to upgrade other than to get some emulators to work a bit faster, my PC games don't require it at this point that i even need to upgrade yet.
I could probably play with this PC and the new games that come for another year i figure, it all depends since the Next Gen of PC games will also start happening i assume now that the budgets are in place for the new consoles. I find PC gaming definitely waits till the next gen of consoles for sure to really upgrade their games to another level, not just resolution.
I just remember all the talk that went on for years whether this game or that game was 1080 so i just assumed those guys would pump out the machine to do it but it seems from articles i've read like 'PS4 most cost effective launch console for Sony' type stuff i see that they kind of followed a bit in the footsteps of Nintendo by holding back more than they normally would like with the PS3 or PS2, or even the PS1 which was lightyears ahead of the Genesis and SNES in 1994.
I play my 360 mostly actually, then my PC, then my PS3 exclusives, then Wii depending on the game. I have games I want to play on all systems and i know at somepoint i will get both systems. If the Xbox One is that much more jaggy though, i don't know. we will have to see what the other games do.
