I am thinking about getting a Wii, but I am worried about the Wii Overheating while in Standby mode. Didn't this cause the Graphics card to overheat, and lead to graphical glitches? Does the Wii Still have this problem, or has it been fixed?

You must have Wii Connect 24 switched off... Hmm.
To be frank, i have my Wii on 24h mode ever since i bought it, that's about 14 months now. I can assure you, my Wii is NOT overheating. And i have never experienced graphic problems with my console.

^well, the Wii will rarely if ever OH cause it uses so little energy
I use the wii standby mode 24/7
It heats up when its off
but when I play it alot the fans cool it down
I have had my wiiconnect24 on for 6 months now...

Yeah mine gets pretty warm, but I've never had a problem. Nintendo's really good about these things too, so I wouldn't worry about it at all. Also, I've had my Wii for 10 months I believe.
