Forums - Gaming - Pre-launch Interest In Sony PS4 Is Twice Higher Than Xbox One

The Japs..............HUGE part of the market and extremely stubborn when it comes to buying american made products. Overall, the xbox one does not stand a tiny bit of a chance, I think they can beat the wii U in the long run but no chance against the PS4, Cheaper, more powerful, doesn't have to be advertised by it's own company because the internet is always doing that job for them. Also, the gap is closing on the big system seller call of duty series. It's known to be better played on xbox for the general number of participants in the community, online experience and most of all the xbox controller has been well advertised as the best for FPS'. If anyone has paid attention, IGN and alot of other people have been trying to sell the idea that the PS4 controller is better suited to play shooters than the PS3 controller. They even tempted me and I am strong on the 360 controller, I won MW3 money on the 360 got cocky and entered a ps3 tournament without practice with the controller and got bounced in the 1st round.

In the end the only thing xbox can hope to win is north america. and accept defeat everywhere else.

That is his usual tactic, trying to make people accept whatever words he put into their mouth first.

Funnily enough, ive had multiple conversations qith people who all say, "Koweniccki is really a good poster but he is just fed up with the sony fans. And how they treat him you cant blame him" but looking at how this conversation played out with no sony fans treating him poorly i can blame him. He really has no excuse here

I cannot wait hearing all the master chief avatar holder crying out loud when the sales arrive.

I love the right click--->synonymns choices for "second to last" and "loud" in the original post.

Please don't blame Japan for Microsofts inability to market their product over there.

Indeed, the bickering between those devoted to their console manufacturer is incredibly obnoxious and petty.

Those who think rationally have no need for such obsolete conversation.

Second half of the penultimate paragrpaph sums it up well. Early adopters are fans...

Who knew Playstation had more vociferous and loyal fans that will jump in early? Shocker.

The long game is very different.

Is it? The PS3s launch was dismal and was $200 more than the 360, yet the "long game" still resulted in Playstation selling more than Xbox.

Even with the strides that Microsoft made last gen, it needs to be accepted that the Playstation brand has more appeal than the Xbox brand. If the at one point $600, "no gaemz" PS3 could catch up to the much cheaper 360, which in 2007 had what many consider to be one of the greatest years in gaming (with the release of Halo 3, Crackdown, Mass Effect, Bioshock (exclusive at the time), PGR4, Forza 2, and others) and eventually outsell it, what makes you think that that brand recognition won't take off and never look back, this time, without the terrible launch and much more hype behind it?
