Apparently EVERY company needs to cater to them. God forbid a company not make games that you like, yet millions of others do. Just cause you loved Nintendo when you were a kid, doesn't mean Nintendo has to make games that you like as you grow up. Let them do their own shit and let other companies make your type of games.

When you want a Hamburger, you don't go into Subway and bitch at them for not making Hamburgers, you go to a store that sells hamburgers.

There are 100's of developers that make mature games, play their games, don't bitch to Nintendo to make mature games.

I hate using the word mature, cause it really doesn't mean mature when talking about video games. I don't consider violence and sex as being mature. Especially coming from a guy who developed God of War and Twisted Metal.  Those two games are the least mature games I can think of, well maybe behind Zombie cheerleaders

lol,... I couldn't have said it any better myself. However, I agree Nintendo needs some new shit but, also gamers need to buy it as well when they do make the new shit...like a KFC chicken burger.

I for one agree with what he says and I am damn sure in some parts Nintendo most likely agree with him as well.

But there is always that problem with Nintendo console gamers. You know, the one where they moan about the lack of but then don't buy into new franchises. Especially non-nintendo ones.

Until this problem is resolved I really don't see Nintendo making much headway where "new shit" is concern.

Hardly call God of War something to brag about for a new IP.

It's a classic hack and slash genre that there are 100's of them and has no new characters.  All just well known Greek gods, that have been around for 1000's of years.  Might as well call Percy Jackson books the next Lord of the Rings.

 

And to those saying W101 sucked or not what you wanted.  Ha, the age old story.  Nintendo makes  a new IP, people bitch that they dont' want that and want a new Metroid or Zelda.  Nintendo makes  a new Zelda people bitch that they have no good ideas and just milk their franchises.  People scream non-stop for remakes, yet when Nintendo makes does a remake they are being lazy and taking away resources from a new game to make a remake.  Ect.  

I've never seen Nintendo be seen as the winner EVER.  Even the Wii was a "fad" and never got credit where due.

Heck pretty sure Pikman got hugely negative responce on its initial showing, yet now its a franchice people begged for years for the next iteration.  People want a new IP from Nintendo, but whenever one is shown its never what htey want.  I swear no one would be happy until Nintendo shows a call of duty trailer.
