Everybody on this committee is from VII+, nobody from IV, V, and VI... They keep harping on VII and VIII like those were good or something...

Which means they haven't learned and this will fail...

This exactly.

Square needs to play Ni No Kuni, it pretty much captures the magic and awe that Final Fantasy once did and what a modern RPG should look, sound, and play like on next gen hardware.

Enough of the Call of Duty battle systems, billy badas dudebro characters, and flashy graphics.  I just want an epic adventure in a FANTASY world I can explore with characters I can fall in love with and a simple unforgettable tragic bittersweet story that draws tears.

Moon....answer our wish!

hehe, TBH FF14 ARR is pretty decent, beta wasn't the best but they are actually making things better now little by little so. Just uh, don't play on the PS3.

What a waste of money. So the developers working on the game or the producer/director, whoever oversees them can't just go, "Man.  This game is sucking ass.  We need to take this in a new direction."

Post of the thread Fusioncode.

technically the writer and one of the directors of FF6 is :P.

I just want a FF 9 like game with modern graphics and bigger worlds. Is that too much to ask?

THIS. already on my wishlist

I know! The best Final Fantasy gets no love :(
