Vgchartz numbers probably are much wrong! Especially in 360 software numbers. Microsoft said that 360 sold 401 million software in USA until september and today and vgchartz shows more tham 453 million.

You are right and that didn't stop MS do forget 3DS too... 3DS was the best hardware in a lot of months.

I believe the rationale there was that Microsoft doesn't have a handheld, so they exclude that arena. That excuse doesn't apply to Sony, though.
