The Lord of the Rings movies. I have never been so bored in my entire life.

I have to agree with ikilledkenny those have to be the worst kind of movies. I couldn't have watched that movie or its ilk. I couldn't I would be doubled over hurling. Such films have no redeeming qualities what so ever. Watching them only leads to thoughts of suicide. Thankfully I have never let myself get into such a situation.
That said the worst movie I watched, or the one had the most detrimental effect upon my person would have to be Invaders from Mars. I was seven or eight when I saw that film, and you can imagine the effect it had on a young impressionable mind. The subject matter was simply disturbing, and for weeks and months after seeing it. I had some of the most horrific visions, nightmares, and whole body shivers.
The only comfort I suppose is that a great many people feel the same way that I do about that particular movie. That was not suitable for minors, but ironically it was marketed towards them, and it was rated PG. The ratings completely failed, and more to the point I was traumatized thanks to it.
Astronaut's wife! That movie was so not what was expected.
Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

I tried to watch that movie on tv once. I turned it off after 15 minutes, it was so fricken bad.

it was a homage to old action movies
Miracle Mile with Anthony Edwards. Basically these idiots find out that the end of the world is about to happen and run around LA like chickens with their heads cut off. The movie ends with their helicopter crashing into the the La Brea tar pits and they decide to just stay there and become fossils. The end.
