I have to agree with ikilledkenny those have to be the worst kind of movies. I couldn't have watched that movie or its ilk. I couldn't I would be doubled over hurling. Such films have no redeeming qualities what so ever. Watching them only leads to thoughts of suicide. Thankfully I have never let myself get into such a situation.
That said the worst movie I watched, or the one had the most detrimental effect upon my person would have to be Invaders from Mars. I was seven or eight when I saw that film, and you can imagine the effect it had on a young impressionable mind. The subject matter was simply disturbing, and for weeks and months after seeing it. I had some of the most horrific visions, nightmares, and whole body shivers.
The only comfort I suppose is that a great many people feel the same way that I do about that particular movie. That was not suitable for minors, but ironically it was marketed towards them, and it was rated PG. The ratings completely failed, and more to the point I was traumatized thanks to it.
