I've been playing fighting games more than anything else lately, to me they're far from dying, DOA 5 , Tekken, Virtua Fighter (this one is sadly dying) , Guilty Gear coming soon, BlazBlue, King Of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, not a fan of Street Fighter myself

Why sakarai? he never dissapoints There will be unlockables, its traditional! Im going to put 10k+ hours into the next installments

It (theoretically) is, but my friends don't play MK (only SSB, but I'm fine with that :D) and I get raped online. Thank god for trainers, if they [AI] cheat, I'll cheat as well

I echo sentiments on here. I enjoy fighting games, but I feel burned on the whole re-release practice where I essentially wait a year or two to get the complete edition.

Example, I bought Mortal Kombat, but because Komplete Edition came out I passed on Injustice as figured new edition be out, and I was right.

Shame is this then passes over to other series. I cannot imagine buying a fighting game close to initial release. Need a year at least to judge if likely have a new version re-release. Of course as others have mentioned not even safe on the second release as could be third or forth one done (I love Blazblue, but that got ridiculous!)
