Its not the same situation at all.
There is no backlash because the last mainline console Final Fantasy game is on Playstation/Xbox and the next mainline console Final Fantasy is on Playstation/Xbox. Most PS3/360 owners will upgrade to PS4/One so there is no problem with FF15 being on those consoles.
There is backlash about Bayonetta because the game was on Playstation/Xbox and the next one is a Nintendo exclusive meaning the people who owned the first have to jump ship or not play it.
If PS4 was getting the next Gears of War game as an exclusive or One was getting the next Metal Gear Solid as an exclusive there would be a ton of backlash.
Also there was plenty of backlash when Rayman Legends was delayed and made multiplat so there is no double standards.

So everyone bought it in 2006?
PS3 fans already had their meltdown with XIII, there was no energy left for XVs announcement anymore

True, but the core audience began on Sony consoles. Metal gear also started on Nintendo consoles but found an audience on Sony consoles. See the difference? Gta also started on pc. The list goes on silly!

I am not here to debate anything, just pointing out that your first post was slightly 'flawed'. Let's leave it at that.

No. Dragon Quest's core audience DEFINITLY started on Nintendo.
Dragon Quest 3 sold nearly 4 Million copies... on the NES! The first one Sold 2.5 Million. Dragon Quest's core base more or less always existed.
Final Fantasy is Region dependent. It's core Japanese base has always been with it. Western Audience came after the switch though.

So we shouldn't release next gen consoles until every single person in the world has bought the current gen systems?
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

"They found out that they're going to have to pay $350 to play a game that would have only cost $60"
and now they found they will have to pay $400 instead of $60, to play something that was promised as a ps3 exclusive. so it is weird they don't complain.
better graphics and performance? so let's move every game announced for ps360 to the wii u/ps4/xone only. because better graphics, right? no one will get pissed.

No, they felt like they needed to make the game into a mainline FF. Do you really think the game would be the same if it was a spinoff (FFX-2/FF13-2/Dirge of Cerberus) and what they are making it into now? And to the second point I was making but the first one already kills every argument in this thread so I didn't, games get reworked, cancelled, put on hiatus all the time and just moved to another platform. The best examples? Duke Nukem and Too Human both were in development for a decade and not for the consoles they launched on.
