True, but the core audience began on Sony consoles. Metal gear also started on Nintendo consoles but found an audience on Sony consoles. See the difference? Gta also started on pc. The list goes on silly!

No.  Dragon Quest's core audience DEFINITLY started on Nintendo.


Dragon Quest 3 sold nearly 4 Million copies... on the NES!  The first one Sold 2.5 Million.   Dragon Quest's core base more or less always existed.

 

Final Fantasy is Region dependent.  It's  core Japanese base has always been with it.  Western Audience came after the switch though.
