Its not the same situation at all.
There is no backlash because the last mainline console Final Fantasy game is on Playstation/Xbox and the next mainline console Final Fantasy is on Playstation/Xbox. Most PS3/360 owners will upgrade to PS4/One so there is no problem with FF15 being on those consoles.
There is backlash about Bayonetta because the game was on Playstation/Xbox and the next one is a Nintendo exclusive meaning the people who owned the first have to jump ship or not play it.
If PS4 was getting the next Gears of War game as an exclusive or One was getting the next Metal Gear Solid as an exclusive there would be a ton of backlash.
Also there was plenty of backlash when Rayman Legends was delayed and made multiplat so there is no double standards.
