PS4 are leading on pre-orders from the data on this site.
PS4 leading exclusive: KZ 230,000-- One leading exclusive: Forza 71,000
PS4 Madden NFL 70,000--- One with exclusive contents: 48,000
PS4 multiplatforms are leading Xbox one games .
Those data would have to be very, very wrong for Microsoft to say:"We are winning the games message"

The Extra $100 cost has nothing to do with it.

This will all change Once MS Marketing machine has started up. The fact that Ghost is going to pass up PS4 version tells me a different story. Xbox one is catching up and will pass on many of those numbers

So your telling me that people who play the game and give it great review are equal to people who never played them. LOL

Also take the pre-orders on this site with a grain of salt. They are never right.

The fact that only Ghost out of  Ghost, Assassin Creed, Battlefield, Watchdogs, Madden, NBA 2k14, Destiny, is  the only one going to pass up PS4 version really tells a different story.

Ghost passing up PS4 version?

Did I miss something?

I've seen Titan fall, will be buying of version.
Most of the ps4 fans will buy it too once the developers have made their bucks from the timed exclusivity, its not a question of if, just a question of when.

Also an interesting point to make, if steam does what everyone assumes and releases a steam box console,  since it would run on that (PC version), then titanfall and every other Xbox-only game that has a PC version would cease to be a console exclusive.

I'm interested in real titles available on either platform, not make believe and what if titles.

Of course some PS4 fans can buy the game on PC. Just like Xbone fans can buy a huge chunk of the PS4 exclusives on PC, since they're mostly indies. But this is a PS4/Xbone comparison.

Really, which PlayStation console exclusives are on PC that arent indie?

Well he is certainly right from my point of view. PS4 has nothing that comes anywhere close to Titanfall.

The PS2 had nothing that came anywhere close to Halo and Halo 2 in terms of buzz either. You need more than one huge AAA block buster to win a generation.

Well. There are only 10 console exclusive Playstation 3 games, which is far less than the Xbox 360.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_games

That's compared to the 77 odd Xbox 360 games that are console exclusive.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_360_games

So logically, if you were going to buy an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 and you already game on the PC, then IMHO the best choice is to go for the Playstation 3, due to the fact that less of it's console-exclusive games are available on PC.

With that said, it's also Microsoft's own fault for making that happen, due to them making it is far easier to port games between the PC and Xbox 360 than it is between the Playstation 3 and PC.
Next generation though is anyone's guess it's impossible to say how many console exclusives the Playstation 4 will have untill later in it's lifetime, with that in mind both consoles have a similar architecture as the PC at the hardware level, so it's going to make porting far easier than it's been since the origional Xbox.

Obviously, whatever platform you go for, shouldn't be about the hardware anyway, it should be what platform will feature the games you like, which only the individual can really decide.

Personally, I hope all your console games are belong to us, the PC gaming master race. :P

Well, if you believe that "elaborating" on the "I agree" or "I disagree" is to come with bets about which console is going to sell more or pretend that pre-orders are "proving" (you know, like fact) that Phil. Spencer is right or wrong; I would say that it is effectively not really the best way to do so...

Talking about oppinion or preferences on the other hand is a total different story. But it is up to you, you have the right to post whatever you want lol :) I'm pretty sure you have a perfectly objective view on that...

And what facts do you have to support your agreement with Phil?

Many people here, including me, elaborated on their reasons why they think what Phil says doesn't ring true, either to them, or in general.
When it comes to you, all I see is you taking his statement as gospel. And you do so by acting childish (especially for a 30 years old person) and by admitting that you act a certain way just to stir shit.

Why don't you elaborate a little on why you think he's right?

Why on earth would I care to discuss/argue with someone like you who:

1) Insult people...
2) Makes things out of his ass: I never admited I want to just stir shit you just made that up
3) Basically arguing in any threads he posted in that Sony is like an half god and anything being done by Microsoft is pure shit...

1) My bad, I thought I was replying to DJEvolve. Sorry about that. xD
2) See 1
3) Really? I do that? How? When? Where? Seems like I'm not the only one confusing someone for someone else.

1) Thanks for handling my light work. LOL

@Hynad

1) Yes

2)yes you do that

3)all the time on any thread that doesn't say sony is god

4) See 3

5) No, We know exactly how you are.

I think both lineups are kinda meh. But launch lineups always suck to be honest. The only thing I'm interested in is Killzone, so for me personally, PS4 wins 1:0. Yai, I guess. I would get Minecraft, but I'm gonna get that sucker on Vita. The rest of the games are just too generic. Well, you could even say that about Killzone. But I'm just a little fanboy when it comes to Killzone. Part 2 and 3 were awesome and right now, I wouldn't stop playing Mercenary.... I mean, if I'm not playing GTA 5, you know... :P

But which launch line uo is best is purely subjective so there's no point discussing it. I mean, the N64 launch lineup is the best in history in my book. There were only 2 (!) games at launch around here. But one of those happened to be Mario 64. That game alone wipes the floor with 50 mediocre launch titles. So, you're not impressing me with some numbers, Microsoft. Try again.

Remember the PS2 launch? What did we get there? Fantavision! Yeah, go play with some fireworks, so much fun! Or Tekken Tag Tournament - it was almost a real Tekken! Seriously, launch lineups suck every time. I don't even know why I'm buying at launch, I'm just a sucker for hardware. But I'm not gonna start to really play with the PS4 until sometime in 2014. Until then, there are more than enough new games on PS3.

I agree. In My Humble Opinion? It's no contest. The XB1 wins hands down *except* for against Killzone Shadow Fall. I'll take Titanfall over Infamous anyday.

The first 6 months It's all XB1 outside of the $100 price difference and graphics. In the first year? Too early to tell, but It's look like X1 through the summer maybe into the fall of 2014.

Considering that the prior five iterations of Killzone failed to interest me and most of the public for that matter, I don't see how Killzone is a selling point this n+1 version, outside of there being nothing else to play.

I'd say it would be a tie but if Phil wants to let us believe his Gamepeen is bigger then anyone else'e he's free to do so.

Although i personally don't prefer this 'i'm bigger, better, faster' than you talk from PR guys. So obvious.

Yes - sales are a good point for measuring games quality. Well played.
