I can confirm Argentina's outrageous prices. It's fucking ridiculous. One of the reasons I tend not to game anymore.
Importing is impossible if it exceeds 25US$, unles you are willing to pay 50% over the price + the shipping, and risking yourself to get it retained at customs. Plus there's a limit which you cannot exceed annually, 300 US$ I believe.

Yeah it sucks. A friend of mine got the game retained and lost a lot of money with that... Gaming here is hard...

While the U.S. has some states with no sales tax, this does not exist in Canada as far as I know: many provinces have around 12% tax, and even Alberta imposes the national sales tax (GST) which is 5%. The Canadian price should probably start at USD 509, not 485.

I import all my games and never got retained at the customs, also, the 25$ dollar thing it's a "discount" if your item got stuck in customs (it's a discount for the 50% price-of-the-item fee)
Also that 300$ it's not true, at least I import way more than 300 per year and never got a problem.
That aside, it really sucks here, the Ps4 is 1k$ dollars and everything imported cost a lot.

Yo importo todos los juegos y nunca me los retuvo la aduana (conozco casos en donde los juegos "desaparecen" pero son muy pocos). Lo de los 25$ dolares es un descuento que te hacen si te retienen el item tuyo.
Por ultimo lo de los 300 dolares es falso, en un año me traje dos consolas y nunca tuve problemas, y eso sin contar los juegos y las miles de boludeces que compro en dealextreme :P

The Canadian price is $499 CAD, but when converted to US dollars, it is $485 USD.
The Canada (Montreal) price includes taxes (14.957% for QST + HST), for a total price of $573 CAD or $557 USD.
I am assuming that California has the highest tax rate, which is why they would have included it in their listing.
