For the japanese stream, Wii Fit U, A Link Between Worlds and 2DS dates for 2014. Some new games for 3DS and maybe updates for some Wii U games like X and Bayonetta 2.

Don't expect a new direct till:

Release of pokemon X/Y

Finacial results of nintendo of the second quarter.

2 weeks from now.

Seriously, don't expect anything till October(fest).

Coverage:
- Wii U/3DS update (3DS miiverse, 3DS NNID support, NNID single account system and capability to bring digital content to new console possible share certain content between 3DS/WiiU only one each at a time, WiiU general improvements, Miiverse video capture capability)
- New bundles for Wii U (zelda, mario, wiifitu, 3rd party?)
- Recap / new videos on holiday games (pokemon, mario, zelda, donkey kong, and so on)
- Special digital promotion deal for holidays


Note:
Must keep in mind the state of Wii U and Nintendo's need to focus on as much holiday marketing as possible going into the launches of MSony. The won't focus too much on games coming outside of this holiday. THey have a lot to discuss for now. They have many big games this holiday. They have quite a few new bundles (zelda, mario, wiifitu) to market. They just had Zelda release today and retail version on 4th. They have pokemon in a few weeks accompanying new hardware. Finally, they also will want to promote the 3rd party titles they are getting such as Watch_Dogs.

So their next ND will obviously focus on the update as well as games releasing this holiday. That's it. I would not expect anything unless they toss in a final tidbit on maybe the least known game, X. Anything else would be anti-climatic and that would be specifically to hype the Japanese market considering they won't see PS4 this year.

Superchunk, are you talking about Mario 3D Worlds bundle or that Mario and Luigi bundle?
Personally, i think they will save the new mario bundle for next Christmas.

A Watch Dogs or Batman with Scribblenauts would make for great bundles.
Watch Dogs would be great to promote the Gamepad!

Don`t really see a Wii Fit U bundle coming, unless they use the recalled Basic Units for that purpose. That audience wouldn`t see a problema with just having 8GB.

What a stupid game to put resources on when you need something much more impactful given the situation of the console. I think the rumoured pokken tournament would be really nice.

Nintendo should release the name of that "X" game, as well as the names of the characters (or at least the main character) and give some hints about the story.

I don't think we'll get another one until next month. It should be a big one, though. Haven't really had a high-caliber one since June. I know they're holding them close to the vest, but they've got to give potential holiday buyers something to look forward to in 2014 and beyond. We need some big announcements.

Anyways, I'm sure we'll get one soon, because of the Wii U system update happening in October. Also, we're due for a holiday season lineup Direct for Wii U and 3DS. We've had next to no information about Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze since their announcements at E3. Same for titles such as The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Yoshi's New Island for the 3DS.

If we're lucky we'll get information about titles for next year, but knowing how Nintendo enjoys keeping things close to its chest, it's pretty unlikely.
