Arkham Origins on Wii U was screwed the moment they cut out multiplayer from it. Nobody likes gimped games.

It is the prettiest version though I hear, even if it did have the feature I doubt it would have sold much more.
But we'll never know. |
I like complete over pretty
that might have fooled PS360 fans though

nah that alone doens't phase Nintendo games.
It was doomed from the moment PS360 had two special editions annouced and Wii U only has the crappy standard addition at the same cost as th eother consoles with multiplayer.

The majority of the fanbase. I was only quoting it to what you put though since it was a good reply regardless if you happened to fit in that category or not. Need For Speed Most Wanted U does utilize the Wii U touch pad and is a much better version than the other console counterparts and still didn't sell well. |
Well, I wouldn't be so quick to indict an entire fanbase. Not every Nintendo fan is the same.
But you're right about Most Wanted U. It's arguably the best console version and it didn't sell well on Wii U. Maybe the audience for realistic racing games and simulations isn't buying Wii U consoles, I don't know. Maybe multiple console owners already owned a copy on PC, X360, or PS3, I don't know.
I don't think it's fair to ask Wii U owners to buy games they don't want just to inspire future third-party support, though.

Ubisoft Will most likely be reviewing its Sony support after this performance. |
Believe it or not, the Wii U number is actually much worse. Attach rate for an individual game should be lower as more units of hardware are sold. That's even without taking into consideration the number of dead units represented in the total sales of a system that's 8 years old. Simply put, that percentage is horrible for a small installed base mostly comprised of dedicated early-adopters and with very few non-operational units. I assure you, analysts and publishers are going to be much more concerned with a low attach rate on a brand new system.

Yep Nintendo fans have allways one or more reasons not to buy 3rd-party games....

Need For Speed Most Wanted U. Better textures than all other console versions and more features. Undeniably the best version. It didn't come out at the same time as the other versions, or, it's an EA game, let's ignore it. When some of you only own Nintendo consoles, the "it came out on other consoles first" excuse really dyoesn't work. Even if you dislike EA for no reason at all, very justified reasons which most people do, you're hypocritical for not practicing what you preach, "supporting developers who put forth the effort to make a good port on the Wii U.". Isn't that the common phrase I hear coming from Nintendo fans? |
Hate to do this, but... fixed.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
