Forums - Sales - Splinter Cell: Blacklist sales on Wii U account for less than 2% of total sales

here you go. COD MW3 360 15 mil BLOPS 12.70mil
COD MW3 PS3 12.84 BLOPS 10.70

now if you believe that BLOPS 2 could make up 2.30 million more sales for 360 and 2.14 mil for PS3 to catch up to MW3 and maybe pass it? You are welcome too, but im going to go out on a limb and say its not going ot happen, not when the new one is right around the corner. So yeah...its on a decline, numbers speak for itself.

And people wonder why it rarely recieves third party games

Rayman Legends sold most on Wii U despite its 200/300% smaller user base. What now?

The market for Rayman legends is the key demographic for the Wii U/Nintendo; however badass they want to try to be, their core, and main reason for their significance and domination of the entire market, is their capability to attract kids.

Selling a game like Blacklist, such a Mature game, on a platform bought primarily by parents for their kids, is just suicide.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

lol I just used VGChartz's game comparison tool. Took like one minute. Of course that means these are VGChartz numbers, not official ones.

It's almost a shame, BO2 was the first COD game since World at War in 2008 where I felt they'd made enough of an effort to deserve to do well.

I would have cheered if MW3 had been the decline as it felt lazy and undeserving of growth, but BO2...

meh, its Treyarch, I actually liked the original BLOPS better than the sequel. I applaud the dev team for actually trying, but it didnt mesh well together iMHO. MW3 was just unbalanced crap, IW after the original MW seemed to just trudge along, especially after the head dudes left. I think MW3 did so well becasue people still hold the memory of MW high. despite the sequels sucking.  Matter of fact i would say because MW3 was so bland it turned some people off for future iterations. I know a few of my buddies gave up after that.

OR. it could just be the natural decline of such a large series. Which brings me to my original point. I wouldnt count too much on COD ghosts for Wii U not only because the series is in a decline but the other systems will sell alot more because those brands are more known for COD, hell i havent even seen the WII u version on the preorder charts at all, despite it being cheaper

The branching story paths, semi-RTS missions, and realistic sci-fi of BO2 quite impressed me, felt like the biggest step forward for COD since MW1. (I should add that I never touch COD online, I play them for the campaigns and offline zombie co-op)

The possible lack of DLC support for Ghosts Wii U is causing a lot of Nintendo gamers to turn it down if the community boards are anything to go by. I'll be getting it day 1 myself, I'm really craving a new Wiimote shooter. Still, I'd say it at least has a shot at outselling BO2 on Wii U thanks to a larger install base and a synchronised launch.

Only if it's on Wii U; Wiimote controls are a must for me. ;)

I'm also really looking forward to Yarn Yoshi (I loved Kirby's Epic Yarn) and Mario Kart 8 next year.
