This is some negative and hopefully false info.

Nintendo shouldn't have to pay for ports. If a triple A game is skipping a platform, then there goes potential revenue. A quality game will sell consoles, even if the said game sells more on a rival platform.

Also, I don't see how anyone can claim that Retro doing another DKC isn't "ambitious". There is no rational reason to crap on the DKC series and Returns is Retro's best selling game with over 6m. Prime series combined is about 7m.

People will shut up after seeing the final result.

Everyone know that Wonderful 101 lost and ton of money and cost a lot more than Bayonetta to make.

That suggest a budget of around $50 million at most. I'm assuming the number would include the number of sales at lower price considering Bayonetta hit 2 million and wasn't very profitable.

As far as the OP goes, it wouldn't surprise me at all if his friend did work at Nintendo. The best place to hear negative rumors and information about a company is from someone who works there. The rose-colored glasses come off when you've been an employee for awhile. Of course, that doesn't mean it's true. I can go to a dozen different coworkers and hear a dozen different things about the company I work for and I'm pretty sure a lot of them will just turn out to be rumors. The further down the hierarchy, the more crazy rumors get.

The part that sounds the most real is that Nintendo is determined to keep all authority in Japanese hands. They seem to have little interest in being a multi-national type company.

You seriously believe #4? Nintendo First party had enough problems converting to HD with the specs the Wii U has and you sriously think they wanted an even more powerful console? Mkay....

This might be true, My ex roommate used to date a girl who is second cousins to to someone who used to sell watermelons in a plaza in Seattle in this plaza a driver who worked for one of Microsoft executives bought watermelons from him and told him that Microsoft was calling it quits at Xbox's after Xbox One, since most of the same gaming can be done in a decent PC or even the Windows phone.
