Interesting. I won't be surprised if most of this is actually true. Reggie's role fits perfectly in this, Iwata is the one ordering while Reggie just put his face.

I can actually believe the Retro's comment. There's no way Retro was more excited to do a DKCR sequel than a Metroid Prime one. No DK lovers, sorry but no. This was a decision from Iwata knowing it will cost less and sell more.

We already knew that TW101 was the most expensive project in PG history. If Bayonetta was considered a flop by Sega, it seems logic that TW101 needed to sell very well to be profitable, numbers aside.

And finally, I agree in the sentiment that Nintendo is heading in a direction most wouldn't like: 3D Mario focused on multiplayer, looks a direct sequel/uppres of the handheld iteration, big droughts after launch, "there wont be a price cut", very silence about their new projects, customers are the ones wrong because they don't understand the Wii U, etc.

At least it looks like they are trying to correct some of this, for example the new bundle and price cut, Mario launching in a better date than before. Now we need a new direct to show more about the console for 2014.

Everybody could write the stuff mentioned by the OP. It's just a mixture of articles which mentioned similiar things and things plausible for a Nintendo Hater. Every Nintendo hater and so called "Nintendo Fan" hates Iwata. Of course they made Dk cause it sells better. It's logical. Not far fetched at all.

Iwata was cool, then was bad, but starts to do good things again. The Retro thing was confirmed when they said they "choose" to work in DK.

Btw, I have a fear that the Miyamoto IP will be something dissapointing, some downloadable game. In the end, my hopes are for something similar to Banjo-Kazooie adveture type or something new a la Wii Sports/Wii Fit. I'll be happy with either of those two.

We don't know how much time Miyamoto has left at Nintendo. I don't think he would waste his time with a free to play or eshop or small title.

EDIT: Found that quote on GenGame:

If I’m not mistaken, Pikmin was the last time you worked on a truly new adventure type game. Don’t you miss this?

I happen to be working on a completely new game even now. The project is actually getting busier lately. (bigger title with adventure aspects confirmed)?)

They confirmed over the summer, sometime after E3, that Miyamoto and Nintendo were working on a free-to-play title based on the Steel Diver 3DS game.  So, it is very much a reality.  I assume the new IP he's developing is something that could help Wii U sell better in the west.  Hasn't Miyamoto always sort of hinted that he's wanted to make an FPS game?  "I could have made Halo".

LOL Good read. Of course its all BS. Every single thing is something negative.

I don't think this guy knows anyone at Nintendo. He just made up some bs that sounds good and wants to see how much will stick to the wall when he flings it

Wait guys! This is not confirmed, so you better be cautious with this. My friend's dad works at Nintendo (can't say where but he could totally reach classified info), he told me that Nintendo is in talks with EA and most likely already convinced the to bring every single game to the WiiU, some of the games are gonna be time exclusive and some completely exclusive. Meltdowns are expected.

SEGA has been almost bought by Nintendo and you can expect the next Shanmue next year to compete with GTA IV, it will most likely be announced at the end of the year.

Nintendo wants the Japanese market for themselves and they are pulling and MH3 but this time with Square Enix, yes, Kingdom Hearts 3 and FFXV are WiiU exclusives and they're gonna announce it at E3 next year.

Rumors are true, ATLUS is now Nintendo-ATLUS and they're working on Persona 5 for WiiU.

Bayonetta in the works for 3DS with Jeane as main Character.

WiiU will recieve a update next year and it will fix all issues it has and will put it above the competition powerwise.

Last but not least, Reggie is very happy working at Nintendo, he is being treated as a king (he even wears a crown) and gets the juiciest paycheck of all. Miyamoto and Iwata say that he is very precious for the company and don't want him to get exhausted.

Well guys, my friend positively predicted the Gamepad and he told me about DK:TF before they were announce so I believe this is all true but we should wait and see, it could be all bulllshit...

Stell Diver for Wii U isn't made by Miyamoto.

I'm sure he has a hand in it.  Seeing as it's Nintendo first foray into that kind of game, they would surely use Miyamoto's input, even if he's not working on it directly, or in any official capacity.

I can confirm everything in the op is true - anonymous source

Why is it all so doom and gloom?

Miyamoto oversees every freaking game. But that doesn't mean he is actively working on it. He gives them tips and ideas/opinions.
