Based on your logic, good sir, since Microsoft is so HUGE, they wouldn't have let Sony get the jump on them. Since Microsoft is so HUGE. Lol

You have heard from two Microsoft people on the inside say it isn't true and to "wait and see". You have heard from a friend of a friend of a guy of his wife's boss who is a developer for some company that...PS4 is more powerful. Who do I believe...?

It's like this. There is a faucet of information. Microsoft is the faucet connected directly to the water source. Whereas the information you got has been circulated through this massive, complicated piping system. Who knows where it's been or if that is even the water from the source, the one Microsoft is connected to.

By the way, before you say anything about Microsoft lying, consider this. Sony was sued I believe for lying about console hardware at one point in their existence. Class action law suit. If Microsoft has lied or is lying, you can go sue them for hundreds of millions, maybe billions. See you at the court house? Or...are you speaking out the side of your head? Lol. "Microsoft is lying! Trying to recover what they lost! Blah blah blah! Because I say so! I have no proof! Sony is perfect! They haven't lied to us!"

Puhlease son. Come back to me with proof from AMD's mouth, Sony's backing, and Microsoft's confirming they have a significantly weaker console. Because then, you are right cut and dry. But you can't because AMD has said nothing. Sony has said nothing. Microsoft has said "You don't know everything guys, because we haven't told you."

Nah, if that was true they might have been caught making up fake good movie reviews for movies.

oh, wait,

"Sony settles suit over fake movie reviews" http://www.seattlepi.com/ae/movies/article/Sony-settles-suit-over-fake-movie-reviews-1179773.php

Hmm, guess we have to wait and see if something happens on the 29th, tee hee.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Lol this again. Keep trying bro. I don't think you want people pointing out what Microsoft/Sony have done wrong in the past. 2005...lmfao let it go.

AMD has all but said it. But if you gotta wait, you gotta wait. Moral of the story? How about you all approach me with cold hard evidence like I have given you since some of you happen to know what Microsoft has told you that you don't know. Do me that respect besides just saying I am wrong because that's what you believe, no matter the evidence.

Interesting, does that mean the PS4 also has a dGPU and on the 29th we will be getting announcements from both companies.  Man, if that happen it would really throw the forums for a loop.  Now fanboys will be arguing which console has the better dGPU.  I hope this is true and both have a dGPU, things really would get very interesting.

DId not the original rumor state that both the PS4 and X1 had a dGPU but MS part was better.

This is exactly what this means. PS4 and Xbox One are on level with PC's, like they stated (back in March/April/May). AMD has stated that the PS4's APU is the most powerful APU they have ever created, which is better than the Xbox One. However, PS4 only co-designed on the cpu portion of the APU. Microsoft has it's own division inside AMD which they fund majorly. Microsoft has been switching from Nvidia these past few months, which is odd right? I am stating right now, the PS4 has the better APU. But the Xbox One has the better dGPU. So overall performance, Xbox One would come out ontop right?

And if you believe the Russian MisterX, who is only dealing with Xbox One portion of this "rumor" (all but confirmed by now), Xbox One's APU is 1.31 tFLOPS. By his math, which does add up (do it yourself), the dGPU pushes 3.7 tFLOPS of raw power ontop of the 1.31 to add up to 5 tFLOPS of total raw power. However, his source tells him to expect over 1.31 and below 5.3 tFLOPS of raw power. Between those.

Then you think...At E3, Microsoft's games were run on devkits with Nvidia GTX 780 cards. Around 4 tFLOPS of raw power. So we can guesstimate all month. Just wait until September 25th through September 30th for final specs of definitely the Xbox One, possibly the PS4.

in an attempt to draw interest away from Apple's iPad, Microsoft has set up a tablet comparison page that falsely presents the iPad as having a smaller screen than a Windows tablet with less screen area

From wiki:

A press release for a 2002 report by the AdTI claimed "open-source software may offer target for terrorists."[55][56] The report itself does not mention terrorism or how it would target open-source software, but does allege that open-source software may be more prone to security holes than proprietary software.[57][58] It gives particular focus to GPL-licensed software, claiming that it is not cost-effective. In 2004 the AdTI announced a report, Samizdat alleging that the creator of the Linux operating system Linus Torvalds based it on MINIX.[59][60] MINIX creator Andrew S. Tanenbaum strongly refuted this claim.[61] a Microsoft has countered that it funds many think tanks besides the AdTI, such as the American Enterprise Institute, the Cato Institute, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Heritage Foundation and that it does not fund any specific research.[56]

In August 2004, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) of the United Kingdom ordered Microsoft to stop a run of print ads that claimed that the total cost of ownership of Linux servers was ten times that of Windows Server 2003. The comparison included the cost of hardware, and put Linux at a disadvantage by installing it on more expensive but poorer-performing hardware compared to that used for Windows.[62][63]

On January 24, 2007, Rick Jelliffe made claim on his blog that a Microsoft employee offered to pay him to make corrections in Wikipedia articles concerning Office Open XML. Microsoft spokesperson Catherine Brooker expressed the belief that the article had been "heavily written" by IBM employees who supported the rival OpenDocument format, though she provided no specific evidence. Internet entrepreneur and Wikimedia founder Jimmy Wales described Microsoft's offer as unethical.[64]

In 2011, Moneylife.in alleged that two "anonymous comments boosting their product"—one by a Nokia employee and another by a Microsoft employee—were posted on their review of Nokia Lumia 800, which was based only on the "technical specifications" and the reviewer "hadn't laid a finger on the phone".[65] In conclusion, Charles Arthur argued "Nobody has come out of the episode looking good. Sapkale was accused of breaking his own site's privacy policy by posting the IP and email addresses of the commenters, while the commenting duo's failure to declare any interest looked, at best, like astroturfing."[65]

Do you really think there will be another 500$ worth of dGPU in Xbone along with their APU/Kinet and other hardware they have revelead so far? Nobody is bringing the price of the console in this rumour, if its included. Already they have kinect which is worth of atleast 100-150$ which leaves for 350-400$ for dGPU and other Xbone hardware, so its seems impossible for them to reveal now which is also in the late cycel just before one month to release.

What I expect from microsoft is that about their co-processors and kinect hardware being used in games for some more raw power in cleaver way(programmmatically, their power is directx) other than this i don't expect any dGPU from them.

ALSO SO FAR, SONY SAID THIER CONSOLE IS THE POWERFUL ONE IN GAMESCOM AND BEEN AGREED BY SO MANY DEVELOPERS, WHEREAS MICROSOFT SAID THEIR CONSOLE IS A BALANCED ONE.

So, I don't think Sony and Developers are lying(do you expect developers don't know about the hardware on which they are developing and getting surprised with a dGPU).

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

I brought up the price earlier,    MS has said the kinect is worth as much as the console,   and they have said they plan to make a slight profit per unit.   so that means 250$/250$  sounds about right.  So apparently MS is getting a custom APU with unreleased technology including dGPU's  for an absolute steal.

How many times do I have to say this..? Price is already included. By Microsoft's account, the Kinect has military grade technology in it. And they said..."It costs almost as much to make as the actual Xbox One."

You are assuming on your preconcieved notions that the dGPU is gonna cost other worldly and ADD to the cost. Let me spell it out for you. It. Will. Not.

Not only will it not, the reason it will not is a hell of a smooth move by Microsoft. Microsoft co-designed the APU for the Xbox One with AMD. What does that mean? That mean's Microsoft has a say in price. They put 3 billion into developing the console along with whatever AMD put in. They (Microsoft) put in most of the money. Now, this APU + dGPU chipset by AMD is WAY cheaper than normal chips because it is not seperate. It is CPU + GPU + dGPU on the same chip. All on the same chip. It cut's price significantly. This is why Microsoft can say they will either break even or make a profit and not take a loss at launch. AMD will get their significantly smaller percentage per Xbox (not 80% like Nividia used to get). The APU is already cheap. The dGPU takes up the most cost. At most, you could say Microsoft will take a loss because of the Kinect. So total system will cost $400-$450 to make. The $100 to $50 will be profit for Microsoft.

Some devs have said they're comparable and some devs have said that the PS4 is more powerful, but no dev has said that the X1 is more powerful. THINK!

Think? Reading something that isn't there is hardly thinking.... Turn the light on, stabbing in the dark is dangerous.

Specs have thus far indicated the PS4 is more powerful but come on... I can't believe I have to say this again but wait till the 29th!!
