COD:Ghosts>Killzone

Well, honestly; I can understand why Sony enthousiasts are hyped like crazy about Killzone but (and I already gave my oppinion on that) it is nothing better than Crysis 3; Forza 5, Titanfall, Ryse etc...

Now I do not know if COD: Ghost is really better than Killzone graphicaly. While Killzone is playing the super safe way (Sci-Fiction) which is always very easy to look impressive; it is still very nice (even if he looks as boring as the other ones, personnal oppinion here no need to post a 10 pages argumentations). COD: Ghost on the other hand focusing on the gameplay; which will be as fantastic as the other ones but maybe less on the graphical side.

Killzone is playing the safe way? Funny, I thought the market was saturated with military shooters. I guess now the tides have turned.

What is the link between what you said and the graphical aspect of a game, because you understood that I was talking about the "graphical" aspect of the game, right? You did not try to jump on your keyboard to defend your precious game without really understanding my point, right? This is actually "kind of the topic" of the thread, right? Yah funny :)

And it is matter of oppinion at the end; even if you did not closely responded to my point and blindly defended Killzone just because someone does not think it is the best thing the earth has seen in the past month, my oppinion (and I'm not the only one if you look at this thread) is that graphicaly , Killzone is not really different than Titanfall, Ryse, Crysis 3 (PC), etc... And yes, Sci-Fi game, way easier to get awesome visuals than modern military shooters...

Alright then I guess according to you Halo is playing it super safe because it's a "sci fi" game. I can't wait for the day where you defend the next Halo games graphics. I will make sure to keep this post of yours saved on my computer so I can bring it up to you and say the graphics look good because they are playing it "the super safe way".

lol, just get a break now...

I never said Killzone was bad lol You are just making this out of your ass because you do not like that your game/console/whatever is not being pointed out as the best thing in the universe... Graphicaly is it easier to produce Sci-Fi stuff than modern or even medieval... It does not mean the graphics of a game sucks. And Halo 5 will certainly be awesome on the graphic side, still it is easier to get it done than creating a game with the same graphical level for a modern/medivial game...  Comparing Killzone to Crysis 3, Forza 5, Ryze, Titanfall is not "attacking" it, so why are you talking about "defending" your game, you are the one who seem to believe that it needs to be defended.

Now, have fun saving this on your computer all you want :)

Ryse reminds me of Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and that's not a good thing. Forza 5 will no doubt be a good game, but just don't bring enough excitement. Monolith Soft X has me excited, and that game I want more then either of them two.

Honestly, majority of the next gen games will look good. This thread was made for people to come and argue.

He's not arguing that Drive Club looks better than Forza. Heck, he's not even arguing that pre baked shadows look bad. Maybe you should read all his posts first before going on the attack.

As the person that got people all up in arms over pre-baked in the first place, I even straight up said Forza 5 looked far superior to Drive Club, pre-baked or not.

Of course I think the tables have turned in that regard pretty dramitically following the Gamescom builds, but that's aside from the point.

As most people here haven't even seen ANY of these games in person, most of your opinions are irrelevant.

I haven't read anything from those that have seen all of these next gen games in person that leads me to believe either console shows a graphical edge at this point. None.

For most here, your ashy, shriveled biases are showing. That's just nasty.

I saw some (not all ) next-gen games at gamescom and when it comes to launch titles, nothing comes even close to Killzone. But that's just my opinion. I'm no techie or anything, so it could very well be that some other game has superior visuals from a technical standpoint. But to me, Killzone still looks best.

I'm sure some other people from this forum were also at gamescom. But even if not, I still respect their opinions. I mean, there are enough trailers, gameplay videos and everything. If you don't go to Youtube, you can watch them in 1080p/60fps. That should be enough to make yourself an educated opinion.

That's a bold statement, considering ryse looks and plays like trash

I guess he hasn't seen Killzone or InFamous play yet then.

Ignorance is Bliss.

Lol. All this bullshit talk about forza baked lighting from sad people. Forza 4 has rwaltime lighting confirmed by the developers. Forza 5 has again got a brand new lighting sytem again confirmed by turn 10. Oh and yeah what bit of dynamic lighting coming from turn 10 does some people not understand. Turn 10 dan greenwalt confirmed it. End of.

Wut?

Unless they redid the whole lighting system in the past few months, it's pre baked.

I love these kind of things, people actually spending time drawing these lines like a true conspiracy theorist :).

I looked around on youtube for clips containg these images, but couldn´t find them. I did, however, find a clip from Forza 5, taken outside of the car and with a lot of potential imagery to draw these lines in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwJ28jorf6s

Does it actually look prebaked to you?

EDIT:

Found them, and they are prerendered screens in the game, just look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXJMOZxQtwk 0:41 to 0:47 :).

Thanks. Someone posted that these screens arent gameplay. Thay are loading screens. Gotta love the internet.
