So with the INCREDIBLE hype of Sony's PS4 looking to be a PS2 all over again and Terrible VITA Sales , Dead WiiU's Resurrection hopefully and 3DS's Major Success how Does Microsoft's X1 fit intoall this? To me i think nintendo and MS will be close in marketshare this generation.

There will be many gamers that have 2 home consoles. One being A PS4 or X1 as their main and a WiiU as their secondary. IMO I see more PS4+WiiU combo than X1+WiiU combo! MS $500 being the highest of all 3 + Sony looking to overshadow it, well at least i see it tht way for now.

Companies can never be counted out so fast which is why im not going to say who wins yet! Everybody needs to learn from the 3DS vs Vita articles from 2 years ago for EX!

My Question To You WONDERFUL Non Aggressive (Yeah Right) VGChartz Members what if Microsoft has the lowest Marketshare out of all 3 in the future? What then? Before people get mad im not saying it'll fail,im just saying if it was last like X360(which still sold alot)!

I think the Wii U will be 3rd.

I don't see XBone getting outsold by the wiiu..not after the DRM reversals. Heck wouldn't be surprised if they even give a good go at being number 1

For wiiu to not be the third place in sales the competition needs to mess up real bad as I see it..and who knows they actually might. WiiU is also a great example for this as many were saying how it would be sold out for months and months after launch. Anything can happen in this industry

it was a good thing they switched their policies fast, i think M$ would be worst off than ps3 if they kept the original. Kinect 2.0 must be purchase ($500) i think is hurting sales a little! I agree with wat you said, we never kno! thts why i listed 3DS vs Vita as an example! Thankz for not going ape ****. I really think people will misinterpret wat i did in this thread O.o

Its never a no win mentality for Microsoft. The reason they joined the gaming industry was strictly to hold Sony down. If they can't theres no reason to stay. I saw a documentary about the Xbox 360 after the loss of the Xbox and MS did not take losing to Sony very well. Their R&D department was hard at work trying to get the hardware out as quickly as possible.

I say Sony's marketshare will grow to 50% MS will have 35% and Nintendo will have 15%

I cant see X1 in the last place...i think ps4 will dominate...like 150 ml around the world...and x1 will be 70 ml...wii u probably 50 ml...and i think microsoft won't quite the industry...yes they made a lot of mistakes...but they still made a good console...

well I will be perfectly frank here with you. You most probably feel that people will judge you in a certain way because of your posting behavior. You tend to focus on other companies products and negative aspects of them all the time while ignoring nintendo products and their issues. I'm not going to blame anyone else for making a judgement on your intentions with this thread because of that either. I mean a more sensible thread topic would be to discuss what the impact would be of Nintendo going from first place of this gen to potentially the last next gen as that seems to be the more probable outcome, at least at this point of time. 

But I see no reason why anyone should go ape shit about the topic. as unlikely as it is it's an interesting topic. If MS ends in third place, the impact of that will entirely depend on the overall results. Profits mainly will be a deciding factor. X360 will be in third place too but I'm sure they won't mind as it brings in a lot of cash for the company. They will also consider the impact the gaming division has on their other ventures at that point of time. This is also a big factor that sets MSony apart from Nintendo...they are companies with multiple businesses where as Nintendo is in gaming only. Too many unknowns to properly predict what the OPs outcome would mean for the XBox brand. That's my 2 cents

Basically. My numbers would've been around 100(PS), 60(MS), Wii U (40). I am giving the Wii U the benefit of the doubt on their numbers, if they really get trampled then your numbers will do just fine.

i mostly defend nintendo or hype up certain things, thats just me!!! Anywayz its not like i dont kno facts am I right? WiiU doing terrible, i just hate wen people write it off (not talking here on VGC) like it has no chance of surviving! Nintendo has be called doomed since N64 era, but you kno the story. No hate toward Sony or M$ especially since games like halo (halo 3 is my 3rd most played game last generation which is surprising as f*** to me) are amazing to me, i dont like COD however. SONY has got some cool ips too. I play their consoles for KH/GoW [i didnt played 3 or Ascension though :'-( ]! i just show here Nintendo love cuz im a fanboy to the max! Only thing i cant stand about Sony is the rip offs. Other than that its all good, of course i'll be rooting for nintendo jo matter wat though
