I know that Ni No Kuni is on 3ds but the PS3 version is not a slap in the face to DS only gamers. I dont see how that's even possible according to @Okrs post

Don't stereotype an entire fanbase by the actions of a few.

That's the big question: do we want this game to succeed financially, or do we want it to be jaw-droppingly well-built? |
Having seen a fair amount of footage from the first game, my opinion is "I want that on my GamePad." So long as B2 runs at the original's 60 FPS and looks no worse than the 360 version, I'd be content.
Bayonetta 2 does not have the support necessary to make faw-dropping graphics a viable option. The game should aim for smoothness and style. And if that means reusing some of the assets from a couple of years ago... I'm okay with that.

Have you seen the demo build? It already looks jaw dropping. Whether they had to break the bank to make that happen or whether it was easier/cheaper to do so given the Wii U's hardware remains to be seen.
| okr said: Ni No Kuni and Tales of Graces f on PS3 were a slap in the face of DS-only and Wii-only gamers. Bayonetta 2 ain't. Game wouldn't even exist without Nintendo. 500k LT. |
how was it? ni no kuni and tales of graces sold better on ps3, then they did on those nintendo systems
Its one of the reasons I got a Wii U this gen instead of just sticking with my PC..
I don't know how much it will sell but I predict it will have a better attach rate than the first did on PS3 or 360.
If the game really is going to flop why concern yourself with it so much.
| pezus said: It is going to flop. I would be willing to bet money on it. However, this is pretty much Nintendo's game now and thus it will be on them. And rule #1: At least WiiU owners will have the option to buy it, even if they don't |
Yes but you call games a flop based on 2 day sales from one region so its easy for anyone to see its your hate for them talking.
The only people that will be left out are single console owners.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Ni No Kuni on the DS sold better in Japan than the PS3 version, and the DS version never got a western release.
Nintendo and PC gamer

the op def. doesnt know what the hell has been going on, but i agree on the flop part. It will be selling to a smaller install base, much smaller. the demograph for the game is different, lets be honest these types of titles do better on Sony/MS consoles, might have a bigger budget, hell its not like the orginal was that successful lot of those sales came from reduced prices
