I think Platinum would have to really sit down and study EAD games if they want to have any prayer of success on Nintendo platforms.
Games have to be easy to pick up and play and the action can't get so frenetic that the player has a hard time seeing what's happening on screen.
Ramping up in difficulty needs to be more gradual as well.
Their character designs are a bit too niche and can get a little too weird as well.
Of course does changing all those things not make Platinum, well Platinum anymore. I don't know.
I think they'd be an ideal developer to carry forward the Kid Icarus and Star Fox franchises, but I just don't know if Nintendo has an interest.
