Forums - Gaming - Nintendo comments on PS4/X1 launch lineups - MEH

To quote some guy from IGN:

Quotes from Nintendo execs over the past few decades...

1988: "I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong."

1995: "I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong."

2001: "I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong."

2007: "I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong."

2013: "I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong."

When I saw that on IGN, even though I love Nintendo games and will pick up a WiiU next year, I figuratively cracked up

Well that was an entertaining article :P

Oh Reggie, don't turn into Sony or Microsoft with the attitude. You'll just put yourself in a bad light. Your games aren't perfect, but will have a better value compare to most games Sony and Microsoft will dish out. Kanck look awesome and Watch Dogs look interesting, though it is coming to Wii U. RYSE look like a living breathing 300 film, though I do find that game a bit "meh" the more I see it, Killzone look great, but look like your average shooter with online play.

Nintendo of UK is getting their stuff together and advertising that speak to the gamer including indies games. Reggie, don't get cocky.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

The launch-lineup wasn't that bad. I bought one launch-window-game last month (Pikmin) and others will come even later (WiiFitU).

He's right, the Xbox One and PS4's launch lineups are meh, but the Wii U's was even worse.

No, just no...................A game like dark souls, huge rpg's, all the online gaming on PS4 and x1 and third party support will give games better value on x1 and PS4. Sorry your statement is BS.

You tell reggie to not be arrogant, thenh you post something woefully arrogant.

All launch lineups are. You don't buy a console for launch lineups really.  1 or 2 games at launch is all most people buy, then they buy more over time.
