Forums - Microsoft - Why would Titanfall be an XBOX ONE system seller?

The best version (Supposedly) will be on Xbox One reported by the developers. Plus I want dedicated servers. It sold me on the Xbox One.

As for PC, i dont care for Keyboard/mouse in multiplayer games. Hence me getting multiplayer games on consoles.

All of the platforms will have dedicated servers.

I apologize.  Cloud based Dedicated servers is what i meant.  This will alow them to evolve the game continuosly from my understanding.

I would say the AI bit has to do with this being a massive game and there might not be a lot of people playing at fist so the AI will be there to fill in the holes. Also as the game ages the player base will move on to other games so its best to have a system in place to make sure those that stay are entertained.

Well, I think the best experience of TitanFall will be on the Xbox One. It will probably look great on the PC, but a keyboard is a different experience than a well made 4 motor controller with feedback triggers. Plus a nice big TV is more fun that a little monitor.

The game has a huge amount of buzz. Why is that? Cause people say things like "I waited in line for 5 minutes of play, wanted to go back in line for 5 minutes more." People, not just reviewers, report really enjoying the game. If the word of mouth is anything like the buzz, it will have good long legs in sales.

I think it also shows off many of the qualities of the Xbox One. Much like Gears of War effected how the first Xbox evolved. I think TitanFall may have done some of the same behind the scenes development.

The 360 version is being ported. It will probably not be the same.

I think it seems in many ways, the Xbox One was designed for TitanFall and the reverse as well. I could flop, but all the signs are pointing to a new major IP that people will wait in line at midnight to play.  And the best way to play it will be on the Xbox One.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

hmm I dunno I think the general public will know little about this game and care even less, but with all the unwarranted hype, COD level, it could boost sales on the 360...

I think it will sell decently, but I don't know if its going to be the next CoD. In fact, I don't think that there is going to be a "CoD" next gen. I can see this falling somewhere between a BioShock and a Battlefield sales wise.

It is still very early in the gen so TitanFall wont be like CoD yet.

That's probably the very reason why they're making it cross gen.

You can play PC games on a TV too, you know. ;)

Not cross-platform. Cross-gen. The game will release on the 360 too.

What I said is that they're probably releasing it for the 360 as well because that's where the user base is. They'll make their money back even if the XBO version gets a slow start (which is likely since it's a console launch game).
