hmm, i didnt know it was cross-gen.  As long as they can get it to work then im good with that :)

Not cross-platform. Cross-gen. The game will release on the 360 too.

What I said is that they're probably releasing it for the 360 as well because that's where the user base is. They'll make their money even if the XBO version gets a slow start (which is likely since it's a launch game).

Yeah i noticed that as you posted this lol

But yeah i agree.  They are def releasing it on X360 as well to maximize software sold.

Well, I think the best experience of TitanFall will be on the Xbox One. It will probably look great on the PC, but a keyboard is a different experience than a well made 4 motor controller with feedback triggers. Plus a nice big TV is more fun that a little monitor.

You can play PC games on a TV too, you know. ;)

Yep. Been playing PC games on a big TV for quite some time now. With Steam's Big Picture mode, it's just like a console. xD

That being said, a controller is rarely a match against K+M veterans.

as i said, i have no fucking idea. maybe the mech AI? like in forza driveatar?

You're getting Forza and Titanfall confused. To my knowledge Respawn has said nothing about AI (I may be wrong, but I haven't heard it). They wanted the "cloud" in order to have dedicated servers like a PC game would.

Why would you need teh Cloud for Dedi servers? I know PS3 games that have dedi servers and they don't need teh power of teh cloud.

I suspect either:

1. Microsoft's cloud service was cheaper than the competition (though I'm having a really hard time understanding how it can be cheaper than Amazon's super cheap cloud servers, EA's very own dedicated servers used for Battlefield 3/Medal of Honor on PC, or just using their own servers like Call of Duty 4).

2. Microsoft gave them a fat check to use their dedicated servers and keep it console exclusive.

Oh, yes, I do!  It's why I got a 25ft HDMI cord :D

And my 'tiny little monitor' is still 32 inches or 81 cm.   I have yet to set up my Xbox Controller to work with it.  But I might if I get Witcher 2: Assassinations of Kings on Steam.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

It's going to be a slow transition into next gen. In regards to Titanfall, a lot of people's mindsets will be pay $560, or pay $60 for the game. So I don't think Titanfall will sell a ton of X1's, but the game itself will sell.

Hum... The Witcher franchise was on sale for like 7 or 8 bucks (for both games) just a few days ago... -__-

One shouldn't sit more than twice and a half the lenght of the diagonal of his screen to remain at the optimal viewing distance. Personally, I go for no more than twice the lenght of mine. And it looks big. =P

I never liked sitting really close to the TV, I do that enough with my laptop screen. Feels better to get some distance.

Oh, noes, did I miss it?

I was all hemmin and hawin' on wither I wanted to support a company in Poland.   Poland been making some bad moves lately regarding civil right, but doesn't mean the company is bad.  I went searching their site, but haven't been convinced yet either way.  If I think I'll feel guilty for buying anything, I'll just skip it.  I'd rather just be happy.

It's funny I went to a wedding this weekend and one of the grooms was a delightful young man from Poland.  Funny how life is circular like that.
