Can you explain to the world what the heck the difference between regular dedicated servers and cloud based dedicated servers also? How exactly does cloud allow you to "evolve the gamne continuously" that dedicated servers can't? Can you explain? I ask, because it looks like you are caught up in buzzword madness, and I would like to see if I am wrong.
By the way, here is one article I found on differences and I don't see how this means much from a gaming perspective:

I can say it makes life easier to administer, but please go on and explain the difference. As I see it, it merely means administering is easier, which really is of little importance to a player.
It really depends on whether it people like it or not. If it became popular like call of duty 4 did, it will be huge
Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
One of my initial thoughts on Titanfall was that it has the potential to do for the X1 what Gears did for the 360 and I stand by that. Not everything has to have some elaborate explanation, sometimes you see things and are like, fuck yeah. I think most of the hype for Titanfall is that it just looks fun, plain and simple. Wanna call it COD with mechs and jetpacks? That's fine (the Google shit was hilarious BTW) but before Titanfall was known about I bet a whole lot of people who play COD would say sign me up for some COD w/fuckin' mechs and jetpacks, people on ALL platforms.
As far as being a system seller? Xbone will have been out for a few months by then and a lot of hate that's going on now will have subsided. If (and I know it can be a big if) the game is in fact an awesome experience for the majority of people who own the X1, and especially the COD crowd, word of mouth will spread. Once that happens, where are people gonna wanna go to play it? That's right, X1 and there's your sales.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
Am I the only one who see's Titanfall on the 360 as a GOOD thing? It's like planting a seed. Most people won't be getting next gen systems yet, so a lot will still be playing on their older systems. Think about that. About 80 million 360 owners who haven't decided if they're getting the XBO or the PS4, but they're leaning towards the PS4. Then Titanfall comes out, and they buy it because of all of the hype and end up loving it. That just made a stronger case for getting the XBO if its stays exclusive. They can only get the eventual Titanfall 2 on the XBO. It's planting the seed. Now they'd be missing out on both Halo 5 AND the next Titanfall if they get the PS4.
I'm not saying that that's how it will go down, but if I were Microsoft, I would do the same thing. It makes sense.
Not going to lie, if I ever got Titanfall it would be on PC. Nothing against the XONE but i'm not paying for Xbox Live. I still haven't come to a conclusion on PS Plus, but the product is appealing compared to Live.
Respawn isn't making the Xbox 360 version, someone else is. There's no telling how it will pan out.
So that leaves the Xbone as the one MS will market as "made by the guys who brought you CoD4: Modern Warfare. And that alone will push a ton of copies. Plus I think people are really starting to tire of what CoD has become. People can reduce Titanfall to "CoD with mechs" all they want, but that couldn't be further from accurate. There's no Halo, there's no Gears. Battlefield 4 just looks like Battlefield 3.5, and Ghosts doesn't look all that next gen. So there is a spot there for a new and exciting shooter to break in, kind of like Gears did this gen.
MS marketing
Press hype (which has already started, good Lord)
Void in library
It could really push a lot of hardware. It took one year for there to be a real "next gen" game after the 360 launched imho and it was Gears. This will be that game for the Xbox One.

MS marketing, maybe. Microsoft is not publishing Titanfall, so not sure they will do a lot for it. If it were their title, maybe it does a Gears of War, but it is not. What was the last title Microsoft marketed heavily that wasn't a title that they published?
Void in library doesn't make a game a system seller. A library with voids makes it harder to sell consoles. And the ONE is up against the PS4. Being multiplayer only is a real challenge Titanfall faces also. Now, Titanfall may sell real well, but it doesn't mean people will buy a ONE just to play it, thus suspect as a system seller.
When was the last time MS marketed a game that wasn't theirs? Every Call of Duty? They might not be publishing it but they are giving Respawn help in other areas. Marketing and discounted cloud access for starters. I mean, if MS doesn't see it as a big game with big potential, why is it Microsoft exclusive? Why bother snatching it up for whatever the exclusive time period is?
Void in library certainly does make a game a system seller. And I know a system without games is harder to sell. That's exactly why a huge blockbuster game pushes systems that don't have many good games. If the system is flooded with good games, who will care if another good one comes out?
In the end who cares, there will be no way to determine this as reality or not. I know I have decided my launch console with be an Xbone just because it's the one getting Titanfall.

I still don't see the CoD look alike so far.... beside the color die they chose... I can't stand CoD never bought one never will.... titanfall gameplay style, pace is completely different, weapons are different, even matches concept seems different, well evrything is different beside the colors and building look... I'd say it's way closer to halo with a CoD art style/skin which makes vastly different than CoD...
