read thew artice, worse frame rate, worse textues and load times make it the worst version, and its really time to change your comparison chart, your using the 320 sp count count from the neogaf gpu thread, it seems everybody there has excepted that its a 160 sp gpu, yet you continue to use old info to make your console of choice look better, even though its false infromation.

Just finished reading the full article.

The pop-in is not missing items... its simply full depth of an item. Its also far less worse than rampant screen tearing in the other versions.

Textures are not categorically worse. They are related to the pop-in issue and once the full item is there, it always looks better on Wii U which is why ALL screenshots look better on Wii U.

Then you have framerate, yes 20-25 is worse than 25-30 of the other two. However, I'd have to play it in motion to see if its an mere annoyance or a real issue.

You also can't forget that:
1) Wii U is putting it out in actual HD 720p while the other two are sub-HD to different degrees.
2) Wii U is also putting it out to an additional screen that the others don't have bogging them down.
3) Wii U doesn't have the mandatory install that would remove the pop-in issue and likely fix the load times too.
4) Wii U has a arguably best in class control option with the gamepad. (off-tv or 2nd screen option)

Finally, their summary clearly show they would actually prefer the Wii U version had it not been an obvious rush port and/or receives a patch to fix the FPS issue.

I think some of you haters are reading way too much into some details and cherry-picking/ignoring the other parts of the discussion.

from digitail foundry

until a worthy patch arrives, the contest must be narrowed down to PS3 and 360 - a stalemate that itself can only be broken via your preference for either visual fidelity or performance.

their summary clearly says until a worthy patch arrives its between 360/ps3, if a worrthy patch arrives they might say its between 360/ps3 and wiiu, get it.

aren't you not allowed to call people trolls, no matter how obvious? I got warned for this before.

I tend to ease off on both "Troll" and "Fanboy." I've never seen what the big deal was with either word

OK. it wasn't you who warned me for calling an obvious troll a troll before. I know it used to be a bigger deal.

read the full summary... cherry picking will get you no where. See my post above.

I also like how you ignored everything else I said.

i read it what they said but the framerate almost never get fixed through a patch, if they could fixed the loading times and lower quality assets , they it might be a three way tie due to the lower framerate who knows.

I'd take DF over LoZ.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Agreed, I doubt Wii U will get a patch as its similar issues found in AC3 and obviously something inherent to Ubi's porting of last-gen engine/games to Wii U's next-gen architecture.

However, you're still completely ignoring my content in above post and only focusing on one person's gaming preference in the summary.

Fact is, the technical details of the outline once again disprove your ignorant notion that Wii U is simply equal/on par with PS360.

Anyone with some basic logic can easily see that had Wii U had the same time/focus as PS360 these issues would have been cleared up.

I really can't wait for Watch_Dogs as its by same publisher but using next-gen engines/features with quality time given to Wii U over PS360.

Are you kidding? Frame rate issues always get fixed through patches, either in game or gpu driver updates. It happens in nearly every PC game, and most console games if there is a serious issue with it. With watching the videos I would have to say I would choose the Wii U version because of the lack of screen tearing. I'm not sure what was up with the PS3 video, but it looked washed out compared to the other two. I actually didn't notice any pop in issues that they talk about, must have missed it. I still think DF is biased and has been for a long time. For a more unbiased take on it, I would say refer to http://www.lensoftruth.com/head2head-splinter-cell-blacklist-screenshot-comparison-and-analysis-ps3-vs-xbox-360-vs-wii-u/ as it seems to give more information and allow you to decide which version is best.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

load times and pop up mabye, i don't know about the framerate but that could be said for any game, anyway i'm tired of the wiiu developers are not giving it enough focus argument , they are alreay over 20 multiplatfotform games, almost all of them are inferior on wiiu does that mean wiiu is inferior to current gen, no it doesn't but it clealry showsw the wiiu is on par with current, you will see slight differnce, worst frame, higher resolution, just like 360/ps3 multiplatform games.

LOL, DF has to say a lot about all four versions. The OP is focusing on the WiiU. Ninjablade is secretly in love with Nintendo CONFIRMED.

They are trying cookie cutter development for these consoles. This is an issue, and will be for the newest generation of PS4 and X1 as well. The clock speeds of all 3 new consoles are lower then what we are used to seeing. That doesn't mean that they are weaker, it means they are different. Also, clock to clock on different platforms is very hard to compare because there is no baseline or equivelancy to compare. Developers are going to have to learn to use eDRAM to it's full extent on both the Wii U and the X1, as well as learn to use multi-core systems which they have been very bad at so far on PC and consoles alike. They might be able to continue to do this with the X1 and PS4 in conjunction, however there are enough differences between the two that if utilizing their strengths it will make vast improvments to performance. The same can be said about the Wii U as it's a very different architecure with extremely low latency. I'm not going to say it's on par with the other two, because that is extremely unlikely, but to see it's true potential a developer will have to learn to work with the hardware.

It's a similar thinking to comparing AMD/Ati GPU's to Nvidia. Nvidia takes a brash and brute focus with their GPU's as AMD/Ati takes more of a finesse approach, but both have their pros and cons.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
