This is probably the highest rating I've seen given to LO...

So far the game sounds great (from what I read), but the common complaint I've been seing is the loading times. Loading screens in Dead Rising is the #1 reason why I hate that game, so it does worry me.

Strange that GT give the story a 9.6 while IGN say the story is only "so-so".

Both mention screen tearing and long loading times though. Probably one of the reasons it was docked a few marks.

Its not new? More of the same FF greatness and I don't have to play as a 12 year old boy who looks like a girl.

 Depends on your likes/dis-likes.

I liked FFVIII because his 'Romantic' story while others hate it...

Overall the game got an 8.8, it's not just about the story.

Well said.  Of course a game that innovates and brings something radically new should be praised for it and recieve higher scores but you don't need to dock a great game if it's the same old greatness over again.
