It's really simple. if he didn't had the right to arrest the other woman, then the woman in pink has the right to help. but regardless of that, she just made sure to remove his grip from the other woman and keep a distance between them. she didn't threaten his physical integrity but he punched her directly in the face for no reason. there's no way around it, HE MUST GO UNDER ARREST, period.

Sounds like you might have aggressive tendences or a short fuse. She posed no threat to the cop, they have video proof. Problem is we don't know why the cop handcuffed her so until then you kind of need to reserve judgement, we all should. No cop should ever punch a woman, and second of all she never struck him.

-Nope neither, I just believe in gender equality, so if a woman wants to get physical then she will be delt with physically, same as men. cause and effect. But like I said a punch would not have been thrown if the woman in the pink had not got involved the way she did, she may think twice before doing it again.

-Your right we don't know why the cop is handcuffing her, but what is clear is that she is resisting arrest, so the question I would ask is why is she resisting arrest? Still as I've said before if she had complied with the cops request, this would not even be news.

-"No cop should ever punch a woman" that statment is sexist, it excludes men putting them as second class below woman when it comes to physical violence. What you should have said is 'No cop should ever punch anyone' this statment would be gender neutral.

Sexist generalities based on averages are worthless.  If your ok with Danny Devito being treated with physically you should be just about anybody.

 

Now beyond that whether the force is justified in general is the question.

Dude, I respect you alot but if you watched the video the woman who was punched stepped away once she got hit. She complained but she walked away. You don't hit a woman like that. Trust me he would've swung harder without any problems if it was a man but no. Did she try to fight him? No. Did she stop trying to force herself between him and her friend and keep him away? Yes. You guys are wildly mixing up what is the gravity regardless of what the charge is. I never denied that the cop had a right to arrest the woman but he was not being attacked. When she was punched did she fight back? No. She was holding her head. If that cop punched me the same way would I be holding my head? No. Why? I can take it. Theres nothing equal about it no matter how large she is.

Danny Devitos situation comes down to genetics, so I could use this just as easily as a woman who is born abnormally large with lots of testosterone.

Ok....lets stop this "sexism" and allow trained woman to fight a trained man whom they are the same size as in the UFC. First of all their weight classes would not even match. I've been watching fighting for years and am soon going to be enrolling in a Damian Maia affiliated school. Let us make a fair match based on weight Rhonda Rousey vs Uriah Faber. Same height same height and same height. Who wins?

You're right no one should punch anyone. I am not promoting sexism, I am saying if attacked by a woman a man should restrain a woman or separate himself from her if she has a weapon or proves a threat to his life theres nothing more he can do.

about the bolded part: had he done that, he would go to jail for a huge amount of time.

Trained woman vs a trained man?   For your point to be valid a trained woman would have to be able to lose to an untrained, out of shape man who is smaller.


To say you can never hit a woman but it's fine to hit a man, you have to prove that every woman is inferior to every man physically... when in reality there are probably plenty of women who can take a punch better then you and can kick your ass.

 

I mean fuck, i've seen an out of shape woman kick the ass of an inshape man who was trying to fight her seriously.
