That cop showed great restraint. I wouldn't have been as nice... you are not allowed to break laws or be treated differently because you are female.

Sounds like you might have aggressive tendences or a short fuse. She posed no threat to the cop, they have video proof. Problem is we don't know why the cop handcuffed her so until then you kind of need to reserve judgement, we all should. No cop should ever punch a woman, and second of all she never struck him.

-Nope neither, I just believe in gender equality, so if a woman wants to get physical then she will be delt with physically, same as men. cause and effect. But like I said a punch would not have been thrown if the woman in the pink had not got involved the way she did, she may think twice before doing it again.

-Your right we don't know why the cop is handcuffing her, but what is clear is that she is resisting arrest, so the question I would ask is why is she resisting arrest? Still as I've said before if she had complied with the cops request, this would not even be news.

-"No cop should ever punch a woman" that statment is sexist, it excludes men putting them as second class below woman when it comes to physical violence. What you should have said is 'No cop should ever punch anyone' this statment would be gender neutral.

Sexist generalities based on averages are worthless.  If your ok with Danny Devito being treated with physically after assaulting a cop you should be fine with just about anybody being treated physically.

Now beyond that whether the force is justified in general is the question.  Backstory seems to indicate.... yes.

As you said, we need more context. but you are wrong, regardless of the woman in pink being right or not, she merely set the other woman free from his hands while he delivered a punch on her face. he SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR AGRESSION, and that's absolute.

I couldn't disagree  more it's a picture based on an idealized painting (not even what it was really like, vs a specific candid photo.

Like Hicks or fat people didn't isn't in the 1960's or something.

 

Outside which where's the painting that shows women not voting and black people not being able to eat in the same restrautns then... vs both being alowed now?

Where's the painting showing that far greater education in general.
