The digital age brings out the worst in people. Most of these screw ups wouldn't say anything near as bad to your face.

This isn't immaturity (like fanboyism), the ones giving death threats and abortion comments need psychiatric therapy or better parenting.

Like any of these losers would ever say anything like that to anyone's face or do anything to anyone. Ridiculous.  Their parents might pay for their basement bedroom, but hopefully won't bail them out of County.

Firstly , I think she is better off writing novels than video games, especially for EA, they just take a crap on their writers on a daily basis, and their fanbase is even worse.

Her leaving makes things worse, it shows that the retarded 10 year olds on the internet are influencing the game industry. Only mentally ill people, or idiotic kids who just talk are able to say such cruel things. If it is kids then nothing will happen and you shouldn't feel threatened, and if that person is mentally ill then you quitting your job won't make a difference. Grow some balls and stand up for yourself and what you love to do.
