Well said Kasz. I am a legal immigrant working with an H1B visa atm. What pisses me off about illegal immigration is exactly that. It makes it harder for high skilled workers like me path to residency. I don't need citizenship. Residency is more than enough. But of course, my people came in masses and it's now next to impossible to even attempt to get a job legally through work visas. 

Immigration doesn't anger me. ILLEGAL immigration, particularly from a certain group of people south of the border, is what angers me.

Most people are looking for scape goats for their own failures. Immigrants are an easy target.

But having said that, some immigrants also create their own problems by refusing to integrate. My brother in law's mother in law has been in the UK for 15 years and can still not speak a word of English.

No, because they feel they're entitled to come here and that the US should cater to their every need.  Then on top of that you have a certain political party here in the US actively encouraging them to come here and to give them "pathways to citizenship" (aka amnesty) because it'll mean more votes for them in the future.

Because they often take the money back to their relatives in their home country

Here where we live immigrants are quite common. Our university is free our hospitals are free and everyone comes here to use them. I at least don't complain. If it's legal then good but illegal immigrants, that I can't stand.

Not angered by it, but above is the most cited reason in most places, especially when unemployment is pronounced.
